  • Patent number: 6507397
Abstract: An automatic color-tone test device comprises: a measurement cell 4 to which there are communication-connected dye liquor introduction tubes 16, 18 for passing through a controlling dye liquor that is a measurement object and dye liquor discharge tubes 17, 19; a spectrophotometer adapted such that a light transmission distance in the measurement cell 4 can be variably set in compliance with a concentration level of the controlling dye liquor that is a measurement object; and a statistical test computer section for operation-judging whether or not concentration and hue agree with desired values.

  • Patent number: 6073653
Abstract: A flow control device can variably control the flow rate with extremely high accuracy over a wide flow rate range from a high to a low flow rate with a single pump. In this flow control device, a pump is provided in a main pipe line through which fluid is fed. A bypass branches from the main pipe line at a point nearer to the discharge port than is the pump. A flowmeter and a flow control valve are provided in the bypass. In the bypass is further provided a back pressure regulating valve near the discharge port. The degree of opening of the flow control valve is adjusted based on the flow rate detected by the flowmeter. The back pressure regulating valve suppresses pressure fluctuation on the discharge side of the flow control valve.

  • Patent number: 5961284
Abstract: A steam turbine has main components such as rotor shaft exposed to high temperature and intermediate pressure, which are made of a ferritic steel and the main steam temperature and the re-heat steam temperature are 610.degree. C. to 660.degree. C., and a steam turbine power plant employs the turbine. Further, the rotating blades are made of only a martensitic steel or a combination of the martensitic steel and a Ni base alloy, the turbine rotor is made of a ferritic forged steel having a creep rupture strength at the operating temperature for 100 thousands hours of above 15 kg/mm.sup.2, and the casing is made of a ferritic cast steel having a creep rupture strength at the operating temperature for 100 thousands hours of above 10 kg/mm.sup.2.

  • Patent number: 5879132
Abstract: An ultra high head pumpturbine power generating plant with a turbine having a runner rotating with water flow supplied through a high head conducting tube. A rotary electric machine rotates with rotation of the runner. The head is in the range of 400-600 m, and the runner is at least 5 meters in diameter. The said runner has characteristics of toughness at room temperature: at least 500 N/mm.sup.2, or tensile strength at room temperature: at least 650 N/mm.sup.2, elongation at least 16%, reduction of area at least 45%, 2 mm U-notch impact value at 0.degree. C. at least 100 J, and fracture toughness at least 6000 N/mm.sup.3/2.
