  • Patent number: 9353751
Abstract: A suction chamber and the oil injection port are linked, under a certain range of revolution angle, via a suction working chamber formed in the radially outer side by a orbiting scroll outer curve and a fixed scroll inner curve under a certain range of revolution angle. An opening of the oil injection port is provided on a bottom surface between teeth of the fixed scroll so that the suction working chamber formed, in a radially inner side, by a orbiting scroll inner curve and a fixed scroll outer curve and the suction chamber are positioned not to be linked with the oil injection port.

  • Patent number: 9239053
Abstract: In the hermetically sealed scroll compressor, an injection pipe for injecting a fluid to a compression chamber is connected to an injecting port of a fixed scroll. The injecting port includes a first injecting port which is provided in the vicinity of a fixed scroll inner curve and injects the fluid to an orbiting outer compression chamber, and a second injecting port 22b which is provided in the vicinity of a fixed scroll outer curve and injects the fluid to a orbiting inner compression chamber 8b. The second injecting port is placed in parallel in a radius direction with respect to the first injecting port and is placed so that an orbiting scroll wrap does not practically communicate with the orbiting outer compression chamber in the state in which the orbiting scroll wrap is in contact with the outer side of a fixed scroll wrap.

  • Patent number: 8628306
Abstract: Helium enclosed compressor. A compressor and a motor section with stator having coil ends and a rotor, are housed within an enclosed vessel partitioned into discharge and motor chambers by a frame. The compressor section has a stationary scroll having a spiral wrap standing upright at a disk-like panel and an orbiting scroll having a spiral wrap standing upright at a disk-like panel, made to mesh with each other while their wraps face the inside. The orbiting scroll sucks helium gas from a suction port of an outer peripheral portion of the stationary scroll, and discharges helium gas into the discharge chamber from a discharge port of a central portion of the stationary scroll. An inverter controls a number of rotations of the motor section, wherein a plurality of varnish-treated layers which becomes insulating films is formed on the surface of a coil which constitutes the coil ends.

  • Publication number: 20090180910
Abstract: The helium enclosed compressor uses a helium gas as a working gas, houses a compressor section and a motor section including a stator having coil ends and a stator within an enclosed vessel, and discharges the helium gas, which has been discharged into the enclosed vessel from a discharge port of the compressor section, to the outside of the enclosed vessel through the coil ends. A plurality of varnish-treated layers which becomes insulating films is formed on the surface of a coil which constitutes the coil ends. Thereby, a helium enclosed compressor capable of preventing insulation breakdown of the coil ends caused by corona discharge is obtained.

  • Patent number: 5040958
Abstract: A scroll compressor comprising a stationary scroll member having a stationary spiral wrap extending from a stationary end plate, an orbiting scroll member having an orbiting spiral wrap extending from an orbiting end plate with the wraps of the stationary scroll member and orbiting scroll member engaging with each other to form a fluid compressing chamber. A main shaft rotates on its own axis, with an eccentric drive shaft being provided having an axis spaced from the axis of the main shaft to orbit around the axis of main shaft and so that the eccentric drive shaft drives the orbiting scroll member to orbit around the axis of the stationary scroll member. The eccentric drive shaft is guided on the main shaft so that a distance between the axis of eccentric drive shaft and the axis of main shaft can be changed, and the main shaft drives the eccentric drive shaft to orbit around the axis of the main shaft.

  • Patent number: 5037279
Abstract: A scroll fluid machine in which a stationary scroll member and an orbiting scroll member each have an end plate and involute wrap on said end plate and mesh with each other. A winding-start portion of the wrap has such a section such that a base thereof is thick and the tip thereof is thin, with a curve of an inside line at each of the bases of the wraps is made as thick as possible while avoiding mutual interference between the wrap of fixed scroll member and the wrap of orbiting scroll member. A curve of an inside line at each of tips of the wraps has such a shape that it gradually thinned toward an inner periphery end thereof, and a section of each wraps in the wrap axial direction has such a shape that it is gradually reduced in thickness from the base toward the tip.

  • Patent number: 4818195
Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided with a two groups of commmunication ports formed in and extending through an end plate of a stationary scroll member. Each group includes two or more communication ports. A lead valve is associated with each of the two groups of communication ports and is operable by a pressure differential in between an associated compression chamber and the discharge chamber to communicate the communication ports of the group to the discharge chamber to prevent the occurrence of over-compression in the compression chamber.

  • Patent number: 4749344
Abstract: An oil feeding device for a scroll fluid apparatus. A fixed scroll member is associated with an orbiting scroll member. A crankshaft rotatably supported by a bearing of a frame has a crank portion engaging with a plain bearing of the orbiting scroll member. A variable speed driving motor is connected to the crankshaft. An oil feeding passageway is provided in the crankshaft and the crank portion. Oil is supplied to the plain bearing of the orbiting scroll member through a space at the end face of the crank portion. An oil flow passage is provided in parallel with the axis and in a surface of the crank portion located at a position advanced through approximately 45 degrees toward the rotational direction of the crank portion, from a position at which the load acting radially of the shaft due to the centrifugal force caused by the orbiting motion of the orbiting scroll member is applied to the crank portion of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 4696629
Abstract: A hermetic scroll compressor has a scroll compressor section, a motor section and a hermetic casing which encases the compressor and motor sections. The space in the casing is divided into an upper chamber and a lower chamber by a frame by which a shaft interconnecting the compressor and motor sections is rotatably supported. The upper and lower chambers are communicated with each other through a communication passage which is formed in the outer periphery of the frame. The hermetic casing is composed of an upper section, a barrel section and a lower section which are welded together. The barrel section is formed by rolling a sheet into a cylindrical form and welding opposing ends of the rolled sheet so as to form a weld seam joint.

  • Patent number: 4676075
Abstract: A scroll-type compressor for compressing helium gas includes stationary and orbiting scroll members each having an end plate and a spiral wrap, with the scroll members being assembled together to define compression spaces therebetween. A driven main shaft driven by has an eccentric mechanism engageable with the orbiting scroll member to cause an orbiting movement of the orbiting scroll member with respect to the stationary scroll member while preventing the orbiting scroll member to rotate about its own axis. The orbiting movement of the scroll member causes a radially inward movement of the compression spaces while progressively decreasing the volumes of the compression spaces, whereby the helium gas sucked through a suction port of the stationary scroll member is progressively compressed finally discharged from a discharge port.
