  • Patent number: 7228568
Abstract: The present invention is intended to significantly reduce the content data processing and transfer times by skipping root key checking processing, when transmitting a plurality of pieces of encrypted content data stored in a primary recording medium to a secondary recording medium along with key information of these plural pieces of content data, if the key information for a piece of content data to be transmitted from the primary recording medium is the same as the key information for an already transmitted piece of content data.

  • Patent number: 7191346
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for causing either encrypted first content data or unencrypted second content data, to be selectively recorded to a storage medium in a data recording apparatus. When the data recording apparatus is to return the encrypted first content data to the data transfer apparatus, the return is inhibited if the data are judged to have been edited. Upon return of the encrypted first content data, a content ID held by the data recording apparatus regarding the first content data is matched against a content ID held by the data transfer apparatus regarding the received data. Where the encrypted first content data are known to have been edited, the content ID matching process is omitted.

  • Patent number: 7058985
Abstract: An ear covering is produced by sewing first and second cloth layers together along a first closed loop seam, and forming a hole inside the loop and extending through both layers; turning the sewn first and second layers inside out by passing one layer through the opening; then passing one of the layers through a passage in a flexible insert in the form of a distorted, truncated cone; placing a third cloth layer over one of the first and second layers and sewing the first second and third cloth layers along a second closed-loop seam, thereby enclosing the insert within a toroidal enclosure formed by portions of the first and second layers. Afterwards, the assembly is turned inside out to form a cup-shaped receptacle for receiving an external ear, with the second seam in the interior of the receptacle, and with the first seam within the toroidal enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20060071289
Abstract: On a leadframe on which to fix a photodetector element, an element mount frame and a fitting frame are laid with a gap left in between. A shielding frame for electromagnetically shielding the photodetector element is tied, via a tying portion, not to the element mount frame but to the fitting frame. Bending the tying portion brings it into a state in which it covers the photodetector element, but the stress resulting from this bending of the tying portion is shut off by the gap so as not to spread to the element mount frame. On the element mount frame, a circuit element for processing the signal from the photodetector element also is fixed.

  • Publication number: 20060066794
Abstract: A first alignment film includes a plurality of first regions and second regions. A second alignment film includes a plurality of third regions and fourth regions. The third region corresponds to the first region and the fourth region corresponds to the second region. Alignment directions of the first region, the second region, the third region, and the fourth region are different. By applying a voltage, a transmittance ratio of the first region and the second region is above 5 in an angle range above 30° and below 40° from a normal direction, and a transmittance of the first alignment film from the normal direction is above 90% of the transmittance in case of non-applying the voltage.

  • Publication number: 20060018818
Abstract: The present invention is to produce an aluminum nitride powder which is turned into a sintered body at a temperature of not more than 1600° C., thereby obtaining a sintered aluminum nitride in which the density and thermal conductivity are high and which can be properly used as a substrate material. Using a vapor phase reaction apparatus shown in FIG. 1, ammonia gas was fed from a reactor 2 heated at from 300 to 500° C. and maintained at that temperature by a heating section 1 via a feeding tube 4 while being regulated by a flow regulator 3. At the same time, while being regulated by the flow regulator 5, nitrogen gas containing an organic aluminum compound is fed via a feeding tube 6 to obtain an aluminum nitride powder. The aluminum nitride powder is subjected to a heat treatment at from 1100 to 1500° C. in a reducing gas atmosphere and/or an inert gas atmosphere to obtain an aggregate aluminum nitride powder.

  • Patent number: 6959366
Abstract: A data transfer apparatus for simplifying a module structure for controlling a connected data recording apparatus and improving the processing efficiency. A control code issued by a common application module having a main purpose of check-out/check-in is made a control code corresponding to a device connected by a conversion module and transmitted via a device driver. Moreover, for example, a control code issued by a local application module having a main purpose of controlling processing depending on a device connected shares the aforementioned device driver. For example, the local application module issues a control code in a state matched with a control code format converted by the conversion module. Alternatively, the local application module issues a local control code by indicating issuance of a local control code of a format different from the control code format converted by the conversion module.

  • Publication number: 20040253644
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for obtaining a novel antigen to which antibodies associated with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) reacts specifically and detecting RA patients by using the antigen, as well as a composition and a kit for the same. cDNA libraries were made from synovial cells, and a screening for the antigen was conducted by using IgG in synovial fluid from RA patients. Thus, a clone A polypeptide, which is a novel polypeptide as a RA antigen, and follistatin related protein (FRP), which is known as a polypeptide but novel as a RA antigen, were isolated. An antibody to these polypeptide antigens or their derivatives was detected. These polypeptides could provide a marker for prediction or diagnosis of RA.
