  • Patent number: 8746512
Abstract: A sealing structure which seals a container body and an aerosol valve without providing a seal member between them. An aerosol container employing the seal structure comprises a bottomed cylinder like container body and an aerosol valve firmly fixed to the opening of the container body. The seal structure between the container body of the aerosol container and the aerosol valve is formed of a valve support portion of the container body and a step portion of the aerosol valve. The aerosol container is manufactured by deforming a corner of the step portion into a curved surface shape from a square shape by applying an annular force to the step portion from a convex surface by plastically deforming a lower part of a cover cap and a part of the container body while pushing the cover cap downward.

  • Patent number: 8203753
Abstract: An image processing apparatus sets a print parameter with which stability of colors can be achieved in continuous printing. The number of prints is obtained. The print parameter is adjusted, and stability of colors in the case where the number of prints are printed in a continuous manner is evaluated. Based on the evaluation result, the print parameter is set.

  • Patent number: 8184348
Abstract: In a case wherein a color separation table is prepared, color separation is provided, so that the density characteristic to be output is maintained, and the total colorant amount is not beyond the limit value of the total colorant amount. Further, the optimal color separation is performed while taking into account the colorant amount, and the colorant amount of a light color is adjusted in the entire color range to control granularity and consumption of the colorant amount. A color separation method comprising: a step of calculating the total colorant amount by employing a relationship between a total colorant amount limit value and a colorant amount, that includes a colorant amount for a colorant other than the dark colorant and the light colorant; a step of calculating a density; and a step of employing the total colorant amount and the density to calculate the colorant value signals.

  • Patent number: 7791763
Abstract: A dark and light color separation of four fundamental colors into color materials containing light ink is realized at high speeds. A cross patch where a discrete color material amount with regard to two kinds of color materials having a different density is distributed in a cross pattern is printed by an image output device. In addition, there are produced a density characteristics map and a color material amount characteristics map. Accordingly, the cell of the equal color material amount is searched within a range not exceeding a target color material use amount from the color material characteristics map and the cell of the equal density is searched within a range not exceeding a target density from the density characteristics map. As a result, it is possible to determine a combination of a color material amount of each of a dark color material and a light color material.
