    Abstract: In a navigation system, that finds routes and provides navigation extending across countries or regions, navigation is performed for cases in which languages differ in the countries or regions being navigated. The navigation system is equipped with first and second route search servers (30A, 30B), which use first and second areas as service areas, respectively, and a terminal device (20). When the terminal device (20) requests a route search, the system determines the second route search server (30B) with the first route search server (30A) to find and link the routes in the respective areas and to determine a recommended route. If the language used by the route search server is different from the language used by the terminal device (20), the route search server translates words other than key words, such as proper nouns, in the navigation information, which gives the recommended route, into the language used by the terminal device (20) and supplies the translation to the terminal device (20).

The collector-to-emitter voltages of the bipolar transistors are controlled in accordance with the magnitude and polarity of an output DC offset voltage appearing on the output terminal so as to reduce the DC offset voltage.

    Abstract: A filter circuit comprises an inverting amplifier, a first resistor connected between an input and output of the filter circuit, a second resistor connected between the input of filter circuit and an input of the inverting amplifier, a parallel combination of a third resistor and capacitor which is connected between the input and output of inverting amplifier, and a fourth resistor connected between the output of inverting amplifier and the output of filter circuit. The resistance values R.sub.1 to R.sub.4 of the first to fourth resistors are selected such that R.sub.1 .multidot.R.sub.3 =R.sub.2 .multidot.R.sub.4, with the result that a DC component is blocked. The capacitance value of the capacitor connected in parallel with the third resistor may be small provided that the resistance value of the third resistor is large. The third resistor and capacitor define the low cutoff frequency of the filter circuit.

    Abstract: In an equalizer amplifier of RC attenuation type comprising an RC circuit having RIAA reproduction characteristics, the RC circuit is connected between an input of a first amplifier for amplifying an output signal of the RC circuit and an output of a second amplifier for amplifying an output signal of the first amplifier. One of the amplifiers is a noninverting amplifier, and the other is an inverting amplifier. So constituted, the equalizer amplifier increases apparently impedances of RC elements connected between the input of the first amplifier and the output of the second amplifier and permits the use of a capacitor of a smaller capacitance value which has good electrical characteristics.
