An information processing apparatus according to the present technology includes an information acquisition unit configured to acquire information of an in-point and an out-point specifying a partial range in an imaged video by an imaging device as a video portion to be distributed to a user, and a transmission control unit configured to perform control to transmit the information of an in-point and an out-point acquired by the information acquisition unit and the imaged video to an external device.
