Patent number: 7626479Abstract: A noise filter available for various cable widths and capable of being easily attached to a cable. The noise filter has a first core having both ends to which first and second holding members and are attached, and a second core having both ends to which third and fourth holding members and are attached. First and second contacting portions and are formed on a first facing surface at the first core. Third and fourth contacting portions are formed on a second facing surface at the second core. When the first and second contacting portions are brought into contact with the third and fourth contacting portions an insertion hole is provided between the first and second contacting portions and between the first and second facing surfaces. The first and third holding members are coupled to each other by a retaining portion and retaining projection. The second and fourth holding members and are coupled to each other by a hinge portion.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2006Date of Patent: December 1, 2009Assignee: TDK CorporationInventors: Katsumi Kobayashi, Masaru Yaguchi, Setu Tuchida, Toshihiro Kuroshima

Patent number: 7319376Abstract: An impact and vibration-resistant noise filter avoiding cracking of a core at the time of application of a vibration or impact. The noise filter includes a case and core. The case has a first case portion having a first wall portion, a second wall portion, and a first bottom wall portion. The first and second wall portions have first and second parting surfaces, respectively on the end surfaces thereof. The first bottom wall portion is positioned between the first and second wall portions. A first supporting piece 31B, whose base end is positioned on the side of the first bottom wall portion and whose free end extends toward the first parting surface, is formed on the first wall portion. Similarly, a second supporting piece is formed in the second wall portion. First and second presser pieces are formed respectively on the first and second bottom wall portions. The core is resiliently retained by the first and second supporting pieces, and first and the second presser pieces.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2006Date of Patent: January 15, 2008Assignee: TDK CorporationInventors: Katsumi Kobayashi, Masaru Yaguchi, Setu Tuchida

Patent number: 7211724Abstract: A noise filter providing a simplified construction and capable of being used regardless of a diameter of a cable or a numbers of cables. The noise filter includes a core-holding section for holding a core, first and second cable-guiding sections, and two coupling sections coupling the first and second cable-guiding sections to ends of the core-holding section. The first and second cable-guiding section have truncated conical shape, and each divided into the four parts by a first to fourth slits arrayed in cruciform shape whose crossing position is coincident with an imaginary apex of the cable-guiding section. The coupling section has first to fourth circumferential elongated slots in communication with the proximal ends of the first to fourth slits.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2005Date of Patent: May 1, 2007Assignee: TDK CorporationInventors: Katsumi Kobayashi, Toshihiro Kuroshima, Hiroshi Suzuki, Masaru Yaguchi, Setu Tsuchida
