  • Patent number: 5324929
Abstract: A device for detecting direction, height and intensity of a light which facilitates detection and provides high accuracy. The device includes a glass substrate, on which a resistant layer for detecting the X coordinate position, a photoconductive layer utilizing the photoconducting effect of a photoelectric converting layer, and a resistant layer of metallic electrode resistor body for detecting the Y coordinate position, laminated in order. The resistant layers are provided respective two lead electrodes X, X' and Y, Y'. By applying 5V and 0V, for example, to X and X', a voltage Vx corresponding to the position where the light is irradiated can be directly obtained through Y or Y'. Namely, the X coordinate position of the point where the light passes can be easily and accurately detected. By applying +5V and 0V for Y and Y', Y coordinate of the light irradiated point can be obtained, and by applying the same potential to X and X', light intensity can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 4925613
Abstract: A synthetic faujasite molded body having high purity and high crystallinity is prepared with a good reproducibility by a process wherein a structure-inducing substance is incorporated in a starting material mixture comprising as main components a silica source, an alumina source, an alkali source and water; the mixture is kneaded and molded into a desired shape; and the molded body is heated in an aqueous solution of an alkali metal silicate or hydroxide. The structure-inducing material has a composition defined by the following oxide molar ratios:SiO.sub.2 /Al.sub.2 O.sub.2 =14 to 60,M.sub.2 O/Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 =15 to 40 andH.sub.2 O/M.sub.2 O=12 to 40 (M=alkali metal),and is prepared by mixing together an aqueous alkali metal silicate solution, an aqueous alkali metal aluminate solution and an aqueous alkali metal hydroxide solution to prepare a liquid phase substance having a composition defined by the following oxide molar ratios:SiO.sub.2 /Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 =8 to 14,M.sub.2 O/Al.sub.2 O.sub.

  • Patent number: 4861571
Abstract: A synthetic mordenite molded body is prepared by a process wherein a starting mixture comprising, as the main components, a silica source, an alumina source, an alkali source and water is molded into a starting molded body, the molded body is calcined and the calcined molded body is heated in an aqueous solution of sodium silicate. The starting mixture has incorporated therein a mordenite seed crystal powder. When the molded body is calcined, the temperature is elevated by heating to a calcination temperature not lower than 400.degree. C. at an average rate of at least 10.degree. C./min and calcination is conducted at the calcination temperature within a time period of 2 hours. When the calcined molded body is crystallized, an aqueous solution of sodium silicate having an SiO.sub.2 concentration of 7 to 25% by weight, an Na.sub.2 O concentration of 2 to 8% by weight and an SiO.sub.2 /Na.sub.2 O molar ratio of from 0.9 to 4.0 is used as the aqueous solution of sodium silicate.
