  • Publication number: 20100200323
Abstract: A front wheel drive shaft is connected to a sun gears disposed at the center of the front wheel. The front wheel is rotated by rotating a ring gear disposed on the outer periphery of planetary gears through a plurality of planetary gears disposed on the outer periphery of the sun gear. Stays provided at the upper and lower ends of the steering knuckle in the front wheel are connected to the outer ends of upper and lower suspension arms respectively through spherical joints. The right and left front wheels are so provided on a work vehicle that those front wheels are capable of steering and can be separately swung in the vertical direction of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6886672
Abstract: A power transmitting apparatus comprises a housing having an opening at its end surface in the longitudinal direction thereof to be closed by a cover member (33), which supports an end of a brake support shaft (60) rotatably supporting a brake shoe (61). A hydraulic cylinder (63) for operation the brake is detachably attached to a side wall of the housing. A piston (64) of the hydraulic cylinder contacts with a free end of the brake shoe. The cover member also supports ends of a clutch shaft (26) and a PTO shaft (29), while a clutch housing (38) of a PTO clutch (27) is provided on the clutch shaft so as to be braked by the brake shoe in the state of the PTO clutch disengaged, thereby constituting a subassembly. By attaching the cover member to the end surface of the housing so as to close the opening, all the brake support shaft, the clutch shaft and the PTO shaft supported by the cover member are installed in the housing.

  • Patent number: 5590737
Abstract: A transmission has a pair of hydraulic motors for hydraulically driving crawler type vehicles. The hydraulic motors are connected by a drive train having rotary members. The hydraulic motors are disposed such that a rotary axis of an output shaft on one hydraulic motor is offset from a rotary axis of an output shaft on the other hydraulic motor. A clutch is provided between one output shaft and another rotary member, which is coaxially disposed on the one output shaft. The clutch in accordance with the invention improves the accuracy of straight forward movement of the vehicle. In accordance with the invention, when a steering unit for steering the vehicle is moved to a steering position, for turning the vehicle, and a non-steering position, for straight forward movement of the vehicle, vehicle impact and clutch damage are reduced. The transmission can also be made more compact. In addition, a parking brake can be equipped on the other output shaft.
