  • Publication number: 20180221939
Abstract: A method of reusing core sand includes crushing a core used for casting into granules; heating the granules at a temperature of 300° C. to 550° C.; causing the heated granules to collide against each other such that water glass used as a binder detaches from the core sand; and blowing air into a mixture of the water glass and the core sand, which are detached from each other, such that the core sand is separated and collected from the mixture due to a difference in specific gravity between the water glass and the core sand.

  • Publication number: 20160052047
Abstract: A mold-making device may include a stirring device including a stirring tank and at least one stirring blade. The stirring device may further include a packing port that is configured to open and close on a bottom of the stirring tank. The stirring device may stir a particulate aggregate and at least one additive by rotating the at least one stirring blade within the stirring tank to yield an admixture. A forming mold may communicate with the packing port and mold the admixture into a predetermined shape. A packing device may compress a surface of the admixture within the stirring tank and pack the admixture into the forming mold via the packing port.

  • Patent number: 7246389
Abstract: An adjustable bed includes a platform having a flexible surface, a flex mechanism adapted to flex the platform to form a flexion position that includes at least one of a sitting-up position and a knee break, and a tilt mechanism adapted to tilt the platform surface laterally, the flex and tilt mechanisms both being operable with the other mechanism in an operational state. Furthermore, the adjustable bed includes a side member disposed on a side of the platform, and a side-member lift mechanism adapted to raise the side member relative to the platform surface, the tilt mechanism tilting the platform surface toward the side member raised by the side-member lift mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7165277
Abstract: An adjustable bed that enables a Gatch mechanism to be operated in an excellent fashion to match the flexing of a care recipient's body, and that is, moreover, useable as a superior low platform bed for care recipients. To this end, a parallel link mechanism having a pair of perpendicular arms is provided in the adjustable bed as part of a sitting-up mechanism, and by always keeping these arms in a perpendicular position, the sitting-up mechanism is operated with a position removed from the surface of a lower-back board by a prescribed interval as an imaginary rotation center when the bed is driven. This prevents any slippage of the care recipient's body in relation to the platform surface, thereby suppressing the occurrence of bedsores and realizing a natural sitting-up action that takes account of the care recipient's body movement.

  • Publication number: 20060117479
Abstract: A mattress for a movable bed, laid on a floor portion of the movable bed whose bed face is deformable. A fixing element that is the floor portion is provided on a mattress surface opposite the floor portion. The movable bed may be constructed such that meshes are formed on a surface of the floor portion, and that the fixing element is fitted in gaps of the meshes to fix the mattress.
