  • Patent number: 11929529
Abstract: The fuel cell system includes a fuel cell, a first injection device associated with a supply of a fuel to the fuel cell, and a second injection device provided on an upstream side of the first injection device in a fuel flow passage from a fuel storage unit to the first injection device. The first and second injection devices switch a flow passage extending downstream from the fuel flow passage, between a first flow passage via the first injection device and second flow passage via the second injection device. The second injection device operates at a lower frequency than the first injection device during an operation of the fuel system.

  • Publication number: 20190376518
Abstract: To provide a housing seal structure in which the sealability between housings using an O-ring is improved. The housing seal structure seals joining portions 57 and 59 of a fixed scroll 24 and a front housing 4, respectively, which are joined to each other, by an O-ring 62 and is provided with a stepped coated portion 64 formed in the joining portion of the front housing on the outside relative to an O-ring groove 63 accommodating the O-ring, having a predetermined width, and extending to the outer peripheral contour of the front housing, a liquid sealing agent 68 charged into the coated portion to be applied thereto, and a contact portion 67 which is formed between the O-ring groove and the coated portion and which the joining portions of the fixed scroll and the front housing contact.

  • Publication number: 20170066211
Abstract: There was a demand for: a rigid core for tire molding that is formed using lighter weight segments with sufficiently low coefficient of thermal expansion and sufficient hardness and strength instead of conventional segments that had a variety of problems; and a tire manufacturing method, which is capable of manufacturing tires with improved productivity without causing increased size of molding equipment or vulcanization equipment by using said rigid core for tire molding. A rigid core for tire molding having a core body on the outer surface of which a tire-molding surface is formed and a cylindrical core that is inserted in the central hole of the core body, the rigid core being characterized in that the core body is formed in a ring-shape by multiple core segments that are divided in the tire circumference direction and the core segments are manufactured using a carbon fiber-reinforced resin.

  • Patent number: 9056436
Abstract: A tire mold constituted by arranging a pair of upper and lower side plates, a sector, a sector shoe holding the sector and an actuator, wherein a ring is provided on each outer diameter portion of the side plates, and when the mold is in fully closed state at room temperature, projection parts formed in the upper and lower sides of the sector shoe contact the outer diameter portion of the brim-like ring and when the mold has reached a vulcanization temperature in fully closed state, the inner diameter portion of the sector contacts the outer diameter portion of the side plate, and the projection parts formed in the upper and lower sides of the sector shoe are formed to contact the outer diameter portions of the ring.

  • Patent number: 5913664
Abstract: A safety relief valve assembly for use in a fluid displacement apparatus of an automotive air conditioning system includes a valve mechanism which releases gas when the pressure in the fluid displacement apparatus increases above a predetermined pressure level. A control device is detachably mounted on the valve mechanism to direct the flow of the gas in a predetermined direction. An elastic member is forcibly disposed between the valve mechanism and the control device. The elastic member has a groove facing the valve mechanism. The groove and the valve mechanism collectively form a passage for directing excessively pressurized gas away from the hot components in the vehicle engine compartment.

  • Patent number: 4913635
Abstract: A scroll type compressor includes a housing having an inner chamber and fluid inlet and outlet ports connected to the inner chamber. A fixed scroll is mounted within the housing and has a circular end plate from which a first spiral element extends. An orbiting scroll is also mounted within the housing for orbital motion with respect to the fixed scroll, and includes a circular end plate from which a second spiral element extends. The fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll are maintained angularly and radially offset from each other so that the spiral elements interfit to form a plurality of line contacts between their spiral curved surfaces which seal-off and define at least one pair of fluid pockets. The orbital movement of the orbiting scroll relative to the fixed scroll shifts the line contacts along the spiral curved surfaces of the spiral elements which changes the volume of the fluid pockets.
