Patent number: 7630686Abstract: A radio-frequency signal receiver and its manufacturing method are disclosed. A tuner receives a radio-frequency signal, and a demodulator receives an output signal from the tuner. An error corrector receives an output from the demodulator. A determiner determines whether or not an error rate supplied from the error corrector is not less than a predetermined rate. A controller receives an output from the determiner, and based on the determination, the controller controls a plurality of sections forming the radio-frequency signal receiver. The controller controls selectively one of the plurality of sections, thereby lowering the error rate. A manufacturing method of this receiver makes a memory, coupled to the controller, store a shift-amount of frequency corresponding to an interference signal in a pass-band of a narrow-band filter.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 2003Date of Patent: December 8, 2009Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Junichi Fukutani, Toshihiro Furusawa, Motoyoshi Kitagawa, Masashi Yasuda

Publication number: 20090195701Abstract: A noise canceller of this invention includes a pickup antenna arranged in proximity to a noise signal generation source to extract a noise signal generated by the noise signal generation source, and a noise cancellation unit having a first input for receiving a television signal from a television signal receiving antenna and a second input for receiving the noise signal extracted by the pickup antenna. Herein, the noise cancellation unit removes a noise signal fed from the television signal receiving antenna. Thus, the noise canceller prevents degradation in television signal reception sensitivity due to the noise signal generated by the noise signal generation source.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 14, 2009Publication date: August 6, 2009Inventors: Akira Fujishima, Hideyuki Itou, Yoshikazu Matsui, Hirokazu Kitamura, Masashi Yasuda, Yuki Satoh

Patent number: 7285956Abstract: A nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus includes a nuclear magnetic resonance device for elucidating atomic configuration and molecular structure of a substance based on a decay signal of induced electromotive force caused by resonance precession of nuclear magnetic moment induced by irradiation of electro-magnetic pulses in an RF region when the substance is exposed to a strong magnetic field, and a vibration isolation mechanism for suppressing vibrations. The vibration isolation mechanism has, as an actuator, an air spring connected to a pressurized air source via an electro-pneumatic converter and acting to exert a force for vibration isolation on the nuclear magnetic resonance device.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2004Date of Patent: October 23, 2007Assignees: Riken, Tokkyokiki CorporationInventors: Hideaki Maeda, Shigeyuki Yokoyama, Masashi Yasuda, Fumiaki Itojima, Masaki Tsuchiya

Patent number: 7278623Abstract: A vibration control unit in which a rolling element having a first curved surface that is a convex surface is interposed between a first and second members, and the rolling element is allowed rolling with respect to the first member in the first curved surface thereof. The rolling element has a second curved surface that faces the first curved surface and is formed of a curved surface center different from that of the first curved surface. As the rolling element, resulting from an additional force applied on the first and second curved surfaces, rolls with respect to the first member, the second member vibrates with a restoring force determined based on an average curvature radius of the first and second curved surfaces of the rolling element and a distance between curved surface centers of the first and second curved surfaces.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 2002Date of Patent: October 9, 2007Assignee: Tokkyokiki CorporationInventors: Masashi Yasuda, Shohei Minbu, Gongyu Pan, Masataka Nakashima

Patent number: 6934523Abstract: A single circuit-configured tuner is capable of selectively switching between two operating modes. A radio frequency signal, quadrature-modulated by a base-band digital signal, is captured into a single input terminal and then split into two signals. Each signal is fed into a mixer at each branch circuit block. Each mixer receives an oscillating frequency of a local oscillator. At this time, the oscillating frequency determines the operating mode. In the first operating mode, as the oscillating frequency is determined to be equal to the rf signal, the rf signal undergoes quadrature detection, resulting in that the original base-band digital signal is obtained at an output terminal coupled to each mixer, that is, the tuner works as an I/Q detection tuner. On the other hand, in the second operating mode, as the oscillating frequency is determined so that the difference between the oscillating frequency and the frequency of the rf signal is to be equal to an IF, the tuner works as an IF tuner.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2001Date of Patent: August 23, 2005Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventor: Masashi Yasuda
