  • Patent number: 7072005
Abstract: The disclosure concerns an IPS LCD having a structure for changing a bright pixel to a dark pixel and a method of changing a bright pixel to a dark pixel. In the method of changing a bright pixel to a dark pixel, a pixel electrode 16 is cut at the end of an aperture 14. In the IPS LCD structure, a cut 32 is formed in a CS circuit 18 of a pixel region 12 and a laser beam is applied to the pixel electrode 16 throughout the cut 32 from a substrate side to cut the pixel electrode 16. Instead of the cut 32, a window 34 may be formed to apply a laser beam therethrough.

  • Patent number: 6244132
Abstract: A sliding unit having sealing means for closing gaps between a track rail and a dustproof cover. The sealing means is comprised of flexible sealing members that permit flanges for mounting an object on a sliding element to move through the sealing means. The sliding element moving on the track rail is provided on the side surfaces thereof with the flanges extending laterally through the gaps between the dustproof cover and side walls of the track rail. The flexible sealing members are arranged at the widthwise-opposing sides of the track rail so as to close the gaps, resulting in keeping the sliding unit from the contamination of foreign bodies such as dust and dirt. The flexible sealing members are composed of chains. The lateral extensions of the flanges may move smoothly through the gaps between the chains and the side walls of track rail while the chains close the gaps constantly whenever the flanges move along the track rail.

  • Patent number: 6200030
Abstract: A sliding unit having sealing means for closing gaps between a track rail and a dustproof cover. The sealing means is comprised of expansible sealing members that permit flanges for mounting an object on a sliding element to move through the sealing means. The flanges extend laterally through the gaps between the dustproof cover and side walls of the track rail. The expansible sealing members are arranged at the widthwise-opposing sides of the track rail so as to close the gaps around the flanges, resulting in keeping the sliding unit from the contamination of foreign bodies such as dust and dirt. The expansible sealing members face to the lateral extensions of the flanges in a sliding contact manner so as to help ensure the unobstructed movement of the flanges.

  • Patent number: 5743653
Abstract: In this linear motion rolling guide unit apparatus, a movable track rail is moved relatively to a fixed track rail via a pair of sliders, and one slider is kept stopped with respect to the movement of the track rail, whereby a smooth and stable sliding movement of the track rail can be made. The two sliders are provided between the movable track rail and fixed track rail so that the sliders are moved independently of and relatively to each other. The two track rails are provided with connecting members on the portions thereof which correspond to the terminal ends of the movements of the sliders, and the two sliders members to be connected which are adapted to be detachably engaged with the connecting members.
