  • Patent number: 10089620
Abstract: An audio object (AOB) for which corresponding rights management information (RMI) has been generated by a license management apparatus, and an AOB for which RMI does not exist are written into a recording medium for use in an SDMI system which includes the license management apparatus. Each AOB is put in correspondence with a migration permission flag (MPF). When the corresponding AOB is the AOB for which RMI does not exist, the relevant MPF is set to on so as to show that a migration procedure is permitted. When the corresponding AOB is the AOB for which RMI has been generated by the license management apparatus, the relevant MPF is set to off so as to show that a migration procedure is not permitted.

  • Publication number: 20020165825
Abstract: A License Management Apparatus, see FIG. 2. Each Audio Object (AOB) is put in correspondence with a Migrate Permission Flag (MPF) which is set to ON to show that a migration procedure is permitted. When a Right Management Information (RMI) does not exist for an AOB the MPF is set to OFF to show that a migration procedure is not permitted.

  • Patent number: 5414568
Abstract: A variable speed digital signal reproducing apparatus, particularly related to low speed reproduction of a digital signals recorded in a recording medium. The apparatus includes a unit for determining whether a reproduction PCM signal is renewed or not. Based on the renewal determination, PCM data of one frame is stored in a memory and the PCM data is read at a frequency rate corresponding to a tape reproducing speed at that time. Furthermore an interpolating device operates on the read PCM data to produce a PCM signal having the same frequency with which the PCM signal was read from the memory means.

  • Patent number: 5146448
Abstract: This invention relates to a time code recording and reproducing apparatus for recording and reproducing time codes corresponding to a digital signal. Time code converting means (100) converts a first time code into a second time code. A frame phase which occurs during the recording of input information is determined by frame timing generating means. A phase difference between a frame of the second time code and a recording frame is detected by phase difference detecting means (103). Phase difference correcting means (104) outputs a third time code on the basis of the detected phase difference. The input information is recorded together with the third time code. Thereby, the recording can be performed while the relation of the correspondence between the input information and the time code is held. In addition, the reproduction can be performed.

  • Patent number: 4681007
Abstract: A sound generator for an electronic musical instrument produces sounds from waveform data combinations stored in a memory. Each of the waveform data combinations is a data combination obtained from a waveform of a natural sound by digital data conversion preferably including information condensation. The selection of a waveform data combination is performed by an address generator which produces an address signal for the memory from an information from a keyboard. The information includes a touch information representing key depressing speed and/or strength, or both of the touch information and a pitch information. The loudness level of a generated tone is controlled by a loudness controller in response to the touch information, or to both of the touch information and pitch information.

  • Patent number: 4597318
Abstract: A wave generating method and a wave generating apparatus using the method are arranged such that plurality of wave samples, each being generated successively, are respectively weighted by, for example, being multiplied by a plurality of wave functions generated corresponding to the plurality of wave samples. The plurality of weighted wave samples are summed to obtain a desired wave. The kind of each of the plurality of wave samples generated successively is changed at each time when the value of corresponding one of the plurality of wave functions becomes zero.

  • Patent number: 4536853
Abstract: A multiple wave generator for an electronic musical instrument which has a wave data memory storing plural data samples of a wave shape, a wave address register storing wave address data partially designating sampled data in the wave data memory, a difference address register storing difference address data which specifies incremental address amount, a wave address calculator adding the wave address data to the difference address data and writing into the wave address register, the summed address data being separated into wave memory address data and partial address data, and a wave calculator. The wave memory address data, which are part of the wave address data, are applied to the wave data memory for reading out one data sample, and the one data sample and the partial address data are applied to the wave calculator for calculating interpolated wave sample data corresponding to the wave memory address and the partial address.
