  • Patent number: 9388747
Abstract: An airtightness maintaining structure for a butterfly valve includes a valve element having a rotating shaft and a valve body, a rotation supporting portion having a pivotably supporting member that fits onto the rotating shaft and pivotably supports the rotating shaft, and a rotating shaft seal arranged to contact in a fitting state both an end surface of a member on an outer radial and a surface of a member on an inner side either the rotation shaft or the pivotably supporting member and has an annular portion. In a closed valve state of the valve element, the rotating shaft seal moves radially due to a pressure difference between a high fluid pressure acting on one side of the valve element and a low fluid pressure acting on the other side and contacts both the valve element and the rotation supporting portion on the high fluid pressure side.

  • Publication number: 20160189059
Abstract: A feature transformation learning device includes an approximation unit, a loss calculation unit, an approximation control unit, and a loss control unit. The approximation unit takes a feature value that is extracted from a sample pattern and then weighted by a training parameter, assigns that weighted feature value to a variable of a continuous approximation function approximating a step function, and, by doing so, computes an approximated feature value. The loss calculation unit calculates a loss with respect to the task on the basis of the approximated feature value. The approximation control unit controls an approximation precision of the approximation function with respect to the step function such that the approximation function used with the approximation unit approaches the step function according to a decrease in the loss. The loss control unit updates the training parameter such that the loss decreases.

  • Patent number: 9262694
Abstract: Provided is a technology which enables further improvement of the accuracy of the determination in the pattern matching processing. A dictionary learning device 1 includes a score calculation unit 2 and a learning unit 3. The score calculation unit 2 calculates a matching score representing a similarity-degree between a sample pattern, which is a sample of a pattern which is likely to be subjected to a pattern matching processing, and a degradation pattern resulting from a degrading processing on the sample pattern. The learning unit 3 learns a quality dictionary based on the calculated matching score and the degradation pattern. The quality dictionary is a dictionary which is used in a processing to evaluate a degradation degree (quality) of a matching target pattern of being pattern of an object on which the pattern matching processing is carried out.
