  • Publication number: 20030226610
Abstract: There is provided an apparatus capable of maintaining a pile warp tension at a desired value even under a high speed operation of a pile loom in a pile warp tension controller of the pile loom. The pile warp tension controller controls a biasing force relative to a tension roller in synchronization with a relative motion between a reed and a woven cloth which is performed in correspondence with a pile formation, and also controls the biasing force relative to the a tension roller so as to apply a tension in a prescribed period including at least a beating time for pile formation within a period where the relative motion is performed, which tension is lower than an applied tension in a period other than the period where the relative motion is performed, and the tension roller is elastically deformable in the range of a winding of the pile warp.

  • Patent number: 6423930
Abstract: When lines of vertical cracks due to thermal strain are formed for a plate made of a brittle material with a laser, the plate is irradiated with a laser beam along first lines in a first direction, and thereafter along second lines in a second direction crossing the first direction. When the second lines are scribed, depths of the generated vertical cracks are controlled to be shallower than those of the vertical cracks generated along the first lines in the first direction. The scribing is controlled by setting irradiation energy of the laser beam per unit area and per unit time in the second direction to be lower than that in the first direction. For example, moving speed of the laser spot relative to the plate is varied or output power of the laser beam is controlled on the irradiation energy.

  • Patent number: 6029715
Abstract: A pile warp tension control method uses a pile warp tension control device capable of adjusting the tension of pile warp yarns according to a weave on a pile fabric loom. The pile warp tension control method involves setting a first pile warp tension amount for a pile weave section weaving mode for use in weaving a pile weave section, and setting second pile warp tension amounts for ground weave section weaving modes, respectively, for use in weaving ground weave sections, where the second pile warp tension amounts are higher than the first pile warp tension amounts. The control method further involves gradually increasing the tension of the pile warp yams from the first pile warp tension amount toward a selected one of the second pile warp tension amounts in a predetermined period after the change of the operating mode of the pile fabric loom from the pile weave section weaving mode to the ground weave section weaving mode.

  • Patent number: 4576243
Abstract: Bulk materials are supplied on to a conveyor one after another with the supply port filled with the material. Since the pressure applied to the conveyor surface by the material is constant, what is called the fall error is eliminated. In one embodiment the conveyor is moved while in another embodiment the material is carried by scrapers secured to a chain conveyor.

  • Patent number: 4566736
Abstract: Dust-proof membranes are provided across both ends of opposite respective divided surfaces defined by halves of wedge guide members. Each membrane has projections formed as an integral unit along the longitudinal side edges thereof. The projections are thrust into longitudinally extending C-shape cross-section grooves formed along the divided surfaces of the wedge guide members. The groove side surfaces are perpendicular to the bottom surface thereof.

  • Patent number: 4169669
Abstract: A film winding device for slide projectors of a type using strip films comprising a film housing case capable of being removably fitted to a projector body, a film guide guiding a projected film toward the film housing case, a leading ring mounted rotatably on the end portion of the film guide and capable of leading in the projected film at the tip so as to come to the outside within the film housing case and a roller means arranged so as to be able to positively feed the projected film even in the end portion into the film housing case, whereby the film having finished being projected can be housed successively into the film housing case so as to be projectable without being rewound. In this slide projector, the film to be projected can be easily taken at the tip to the position of the film guide by pushing a button.
