  • Publication number: 20150329022
Abstract: To provide a headrest holder capable of preventing a wobble of a headrest and generating of a rattle. A headrest holder includes a main body loaded in a support bracket provided on a top portion of a seat back of a vehicle as well as provided with a stay insertion hole for inserting a stay of a headrest, in which the main body is integrally provided with an elastic tongue piece hanging downward, a free end portion of which protrudes into the stay insertion hole, an outer surface on a base end side of the tongue portion has a contact area making a surface contact with an inner wall surface of the support bracket, and the main body is loaded inside the support bracket so that the free end side of the tongue portion is separated from the inner wall surface of the support bracket.

  • Patent number: 8991927
Abstract: A headrest holder includes two tension pieces defined in the body portion thereof and a head portion. The two tension pieces, each including a protrudent portion, are spaced apart from each other along the longitudinal direction of that body portion, while being in a mutually facing relation, so that a headrest stay inserted in the headrest holder is retained between the two protrudent portions against wobbling. Further, those two tension pieces and either the head portion or a support bracket of seat frame establish three supportive points. Namely, the headrest holder inserted in the support bracket is retained against wobbling because the two protrudent portions and the headrest holder's neck portion closely contact the support bracket. Also, a headrest stay inserted in the headrest holder is retained against wobbling because the two protrudent portions and headrest holder's head portion closely contact the headrest stay.

  • Patent number: 8939504
Abstract: A seat back of vehicle seat including: a seat back frame; a support wire element disposed in the seat back frame; a support plate attached to the support wire element such that an upper portion thereof projects upwardly from the support wire element; and a resilient reinforcing element provided to that upper portion of support wire element, thereby normally reinforcing such upper portion. The resilient reinforcing element has two upper end portions respectively slidably engaged with two brackets of the seat back frame and a main reinforcing portion which is resiliently extensible, while being resiliently deformable rearwardly of the seat back frame. Another resilient reinforcing element having a pair of reinforcing portions may be provided to a lower portion of the support wire element to normally reinforce such upper portion. Each of those two different reinforcing elements is resiliently deformable rearwardly by an excessive great load applied thereto.

  • Patent number: 8668225
Abstract: A vehicle seat includes: a seat back frame that is provided with a pair of side frame portions that are located on both left and right sides in the seat transverse direction; an outer-side load transmitting block that is located further to an outer side in the transverse direction of the seat back frame than the side frame portion of the seat back frame, and that transmits an impact load that is input from a side of the vehicle body to the seat back frame; a protruding portion that protrudes from a side surface of the side frame portion on the outer side in the transverse direction of the seat back frame towards the outer side in the transverse direction of the seat back frame; a side airbag apparatus that is located on a front surface of the protruding portion; and an engaging portion that is formed in the outer-side load transmitting block, and that receives the protruding portion.
