  • Publication number: 20160002404
Abstract: A paving binder according to the present invention is used for a paving mixture for forming a pavement, including a polyamide resin having a weight average molecular weight, as measured by gel permeation chromatography of 2,000 or more and 10,000 or less and having an area, corresponding to a component having a molecular weight of 20,000 or more and 500,000 or less, of 0.5% or more and 12% or less of a total area in a chromatogram of molecular weight distribution as measured by gel permeation chromatography. Thus, tolerance for a severe temperature condition or loading condition can be improved, while ensuring convenience from the standpoint of laying such that the laying can be made by the conventional machine composition or laying system.

  • Patent number: 9067415
Abstract: An ink-jet recording apparatus includes a recording head having a plurality of nozzles through which an ink composition containing an inorganic pigment is ejected, a nozzle surface having nozzle orifices, and a liquid-repellent film disposed on the nozzle surface; an absorbing member that absorbs the ink composition from the nozzle orifices and the nozzle surface; and an actuating mechanism including a pressing member that presses the absorbing member and the nozzle surface relative to each other with a force of 50 to 500 gf. The actuating mechanism moves at least one of the absorbing member and the recording head relative to the other to perform a cleaning operation in which the ink composition is removed from the nozzle surface with the absorbing member. The absorbing member contains an impregnation liquid during the cleaning operation.

  • Patent number: 8456752
Abstract: An interchangeable lens unit comprises a second lens group unit, a focus lens unit, a fourth lens group unit, a zoom ring unit, and a focus motor. The zoom ring unit mechanically transmits operational force inputted to a zoom ring to the second lens group unit and the fourth lens group unit. The focus motor electrically drives the focus lens unit in the Z axis direction with respect to the second lens group unit. When the zoom ring is operated in a state in which no power is being supplied to the focus motor, a gap is always ensured in the Z axis direction between the focus lens unit and the second lens group unit.

  • Patent number: 8389606
Abstract: The present invention relates to an asphalt mixture including aggregates, a polyamide resin and asphalt, wherein the polyamide resin has a softening point of from 60 to 150° C., and is compounded in an amount of from 3 to 90% by mass on the basis of a total amount of the polyamide resin and the asphalt; and a paving method using the asphalt mixture. The asphalt mixture of the present invention provides a pavement which is free from rutting and torsional breakage and exhibits a high oil resistance. The pavement obtained from the asphalt mixture is free from fracture and can be prevented from suffering from occurrence of rutting and torsional breakage even when leakage of oils over a surface of the pavement occurs.

  • Patent number: 8203628
Abstract: A camera system that can maintain a good focus state regardless of the speed of zooming during variable proportion zooming is provided. The camera system has a control portion that, based on information on the speed of the change in the focal length, determines whether to control a focus lens drive portion in either a first control mode or a second control mode. If it determines that control is to be performed in the first control mode, then the control portion controls the focus lens drive portion so that it drives a focus lens in the direction that brings a predetermined captured object into focus based on estimated values for auto focusing that have been calculated from the image data at various positions by controlling the focus lens drive portion so that the captured object distance is moved forward and backward in the optical axis direction.
