  • Patent number: 5512345
Abstract: A vacuum insulator casing for thermal insulating between inside and outside of the casing. The vacuum insulator casing has an inner casing constructed at least two planer sections and a corner section located between the planer sections and an outer casing having a similar shape to the inner casing, which covers the inner casing having a space between them. The space the inner and outer casings is filled with a plurality of vacuum insulator panels and other insulator material. Each vacuum insulator panel has a gas tight outer package from which air has been evacuated and a low thermal conductivity material filled in the package. The vacuum insulator panels are sandwiched between the inner and outer casings so as to touch both casings.

  • Patent number: 4373432
Abstract: A machine for processing pineapples, wherein the remaining blemishes and skin are trimmed from the top and butt portions of a sized and partially skinned cylinder of fruit automatically during processing through sizing, coring, and top and butt removal operations. The automatic top and butt trimming permits an increased yield of higher grade product through more precisely controlled cutting and trimming than have previously been accomplished by hand operations. Labor costs are also substantially reduced.

  • Patent number: 4332138
Abstract: Refrigerating apparatus comprising freezing and refrigerating compartments, to be controlled to different temperatures, which are provided with respective evaporators. During operation of a compressor, liquid refrigerant is always fed to the freezer evaporator, but is selectively fed to the refrigerator evaporator by function of a feed control device which comprises a vapor bubble pump as its essential component. The feed control device is supported by an insulation board which, in turn, is mounted on the back surface of an inner shell forming the freezing compartment such that a ratio of a distance 1 between the outer surface of the inner shell of the freezing compartment and the innermost surface of the feed control device with respect to the thickness m of the insulation wall filling the heat-insulation space defined by the inner shell and an outer shell of the freezing compartment.

  • Patent number: 4317335
Abstract: A refrigerating apparatus comprising at least two evaporators which are controlled at different temperatures by a refrigerant, conduits for conducting the refrigerant to the evaporators, a rising portion which is formed in one of the conduits and which has an irregularly formed inner surface, a heater winding around the outer surface of not only the irregularly formed portion but also the portion of the conduit above the irregularly formed portion in order to produce smoother, more effective bubbling action.
