  • Patent number: 6095164
Abstract: In a method and an apparatus for removing an image forming substance such as toner from an image holding member such as a sheet of transfer paper, a CCD sensor detects an unremoved image formed by a stamp, additional writing, etc. and left on the transfer paper sheet after toner separating processing is performed with respect to the transfer paper sheet by a liquid-providing toner-separating unit. A discriminating mark such as a punch, a mark o, etc. is additionally provided to the transfer paper sheet having the detected unremoved image by a discriminating mark providing unit. The transfer paper sheet having the discriminating mark is automatically sorted by a sorting unit and is discharged onto a paper discharging tray. The toner removing apparatus may have an unrecognizing device for blotting the unremoved image such as a seal print, a signature, etc. on the transfer paper sheet.

  • Patent number: 5949381
Abstract: A on-vehicle windowpane antenna apparatus according to the present invention is mounted on a windowpane of a vehicle. The apparatus includes a rectangular loop formed of a first long and narrow conductor, and a composite line formed of a second long and narrow conductor arranged in parallel with one of short sides of the rectangular loop. The apparatus also includes means for causing the apparatus to serve as a circularly polarized antenna which emits a circularly polarized wave in a direction perpendicular to a plane where the rectangular loop including the composite line is formed, and which is capable or receiving a GPS wave.

  • Patent number: 5858093
Abstract: A liquid applying member and a tool are provided. The liquid applying member includes an applying roller which can stably apply an unstabilizing liquid to a transfer paper. The tool is referable for manufacturing the applying roller. A large number of recess portions independent from each other are provided on a circular circumferential surface of the applying roller for applying the unstabilizing liquid which unstabilizes an attachment state between the toner and the transfer paper to the transfer paper having a toner image formed thereon. The recess portion can be formed by pressing the rotating tool constructed with a roller member made of a material harder than that of the surface portion of the applying roller and provided with projecting portions formed on a circular circumferential surface thereof, so as to engage with the recess portions having a target shape of the applying roller to the raw material of the applying roller.

  • Patent number: 5835837
Abstract: An image forming substance removing apparatus for removing an image forming substance from an image holding member has a separating device for separating the image forming substance from the image holding member by separating a separating member having adhesive force stronger than adhesive force between the image holding member and the image forming substance attached onto this image holding member from the image forming substance on the image holding member after this separating member comes in contact with the image forming substance on the image holding member; and a cleaner for cleaning the separating member by removing the image forming substance attached onto the separating member therefrom.

  • Patent number: 5813344
Abstract: In a method and an apparatus for removing an image forming substance such as toner from an image holding member such as a sheet of transfer paper, a liquid providing unit is constructed by plural coating devices such as three coating devices each having a coating roller, a restricting roller and a liquid container for liquid storage. The coating devices are arranged along a conveying path of the transfer paper sheet. A liquid is provided to the transfer paper sheet from both face sides thereof by using a mist generator, etc. in the liquid providing unit. The coating and restricting rollers are arranged such that no coating and restricting rollers come in contact with the transfer paper sheet so as not to restrict the transfer paper sheet. A surface of each of the coating and restricting rollers is desirably constructed such that this surface is hydrophilic. Another toner removing apparatus is also shown. A drive roller device for supporting an offset belt for conveying the transfer paper sheet is also shown.
