  • Patent number: 7191474
Abstract: There is a demand for an automatic shampoo machine used in beauty solons and the like which dispenses with an all-purpose chair to be prepared separately and has a better appearance and an improved feeling of use. In an automatic shampoo machine 1, a seat 2 for seating a person to be shampooed thereon during shampooing and a basin 13 for receiving the person's head for the shampooing are supported by a common housing 3. The housing 3 accommodates and supports spout means 4 for spouting warm water automatically in the basin 13. Since the seat 2 is integrated in the automatic shampoo machine 1, the need for separately preparing a chair is obviated and the automatic shampoo machine 1 has an improved appearance. By using a space below the seat 2 effectively, functional components of the spout means 4 such as a warm water reservoir tank 45 are disposed in the space and the components can more flexibly be laid out.

  • Patent number: 7114201
Abstract: An automatic shampoo machine used in beauty salons and the like, having improved operability and including a manual finish hair rinsing operation. A basin is provided with a hand shower and a hand shower valve to be operated by an operator standing behind, a hood for covering and uncovering the top of the basin and an open/close unit for opening/closing and moving the hood. The open/close unit guides the hood to a closing position, a first opening position and a second opening position. In the first position the hood is in an upright state behind the basin, and in the second position the hood is positioned on the left side of the basin. In the second position, the hood uncovers the rear side of the basin, whereby the operator can perform operations from the rear side of the basin without the hood interfering.

  • Patent number: 5049401
Abstract: The present invention provides a product containing glucomannan mixed with encapsulated acidic material having a wall made of hydrophobic substance which melts at a temperature higher than the coagulating temperature of the glucomannan. Because this acidic material is covered with a wall, when alkali is added to the mixture which is then heated, the glucomannan is coagulated. Then, the wall of the encapsulated material is melted by heating to liberate acid, neutralizing the alkaline substance, and producing a slightly alkaline, neutral or acidic glucomannan coagulated product. Further, although the glucomannan coagulated product has a water- releasing property, this can be reduced by adding other natural polysaccharides. Also, a decrease of elasticity caused by neutralization can be eliminated by adding food cellulose.

  • Patent number: 5008118
Abstract: A method for producing a coated organic agent is provided. The method comprises contacting a coating agent with core powders of an organic substance so that the coating agent collides against the core powders, and attaching the coating agent onto the overall surface of each of the core powders, whereby the core powders are coated by the coating agent. The coating agent contains at least lipid powders having a melting point not lower than 40.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 4921705
Abstract: A lipid powder having a cross-linked coating thereon comprises a core lipid powder and a water-soluble coating agent coating the core lipid powder. The water-soluble coating agent contains cross-linked protein. A process for preparing lipid powders each having a cross-linked coating thereon comprises the steps of emulsifying lipid and a water-soluble coating agent containing protein to obtain an emulsion, adding a cross-linking agent for the protein the the emulsion to thereby cross-link the protein, atomizing and drying the emulsion containing the cross-linked protein to terminate the cross-linking reaction and to obtain lipid powders each coated with the water-soluble coating agent, and cooling the coated lipid powders.
