  • Patent number: 11543425
Abstract: A road surface damage detection device is configured to calculate, for each of road sections, a maximum variation rate that is a maximum value of a variation amount of a wheel speed per unit time in each of vehicles. The device is configured to periodically select, for each of the road sections, a maximum value from the maximum variation rate of each of the vehicles in a prescribed period, set the selected maximum value as a section maximum variation rate, and determine whether or not the road surface damage has occurred by comparing a determination target value with a positive threshold, the determination target value being obtained by subtracting a comparison value, based on at least one of the section maximum variation rates set before last time, from the section maximum variation rate that is set latest.

  • Patent number: 11364919
Abstract: A driving behavior evaluation device includes a memory and a processor. In a case in which a speed of a target vehicle exceeds a regulation speed and an amount of deviation of the speed of the target vehicle with respect to an average speed of vehicles around the target vehicle is equal to or greater than a threshold value, the processor is configured to set an evaluation of driving behavior of the target vehicle to a lower value than in a case in which the speed of the target vehicle exceeds the regulation speed and the amount of deviation is less than the threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20220073078
Abstract: A rut determination device is configured to determine, for each road section, presence or absence of a rut based on any one of a plurality of first variation quantities each of which is the variation quantity of a vehicle-body slip angular velocity per unit time for each vehicle, a plurality of first processed values each of which is a value obtained by performing predetermined processing for each of the plurality of the first variation quantities, a plurality of second variation quantities each of which is the variation quantity of a vehicle-body slip-related value, which is the product of the vehicle-body slip angular velocity and the vehicle speed for each vehicle, per unit time, and a plurality of second processed values each of which is a value obtained by performing the predetermined processing for each of the plurality of the second variation quantities.

  • Publication number: 20210163014
Abstract: A road surface damage detection device is configured to calculate, for each of road sections, a maximum variation rate that is a maximum value of a variation amount of a wheel speed per unit time in each of vehicles. Next, the device is configured to periodically select, for each of the road sections, a maximum value from the maximum variation rate of each of the vehicles in a first prescribed period, set the selected maximum value as a section maximum variation rate, and determine whether or not the road surface damage has occurred by comparing the section maximum variation rate with a threshold. The device sets the threshold, for each of the road sections, based on a behavior of each of the vehicles in a second prescribed period or based on the behavior of each of the vehicles when a predetermined condition is satisfied.

  • Patent number: 10967869
Abstract: A road surface condition estimation apparatus (1) is provided with a collecting device (111) for collecting, from vehicle (2), behavior information relating to a behavior of the vehicle; a determining device (112) for determining on the basis of the behavior information whether or not an abnormality condition is satisfied, the abnormality condition being set on the basis of a specific behavior that is expected to be taken by the vehicle when the vehicle encounters a road surface abnormality; and an estimating device (112) for estimating a condition of the road surface on the basis of a determined result of the determining device.

  • Publication number: 20210063196
Abstract: An abnormal section that is a road section having an abnormal road condition is detected out of respective road sections, based on vehicle information from a plurality of vehicles. Out of roads in a displayed map, a small number of abnormal sections-part that has a number of consecutive abnormal sections (a continuous distance where the road condition is abnormal) less than a reference value is provided with state information in a first display mode. A large number of abnormal sections-part that has the number of consecutive abnormal sections equal to or greater than the reference value is provided with the state information in a second display mode that is different from the first display mode. The small number of abnormal sections-part and the large number of abnormal sections-part provided with the state information are displayed in a display device.

  • Publication number: 20210064891
Abstract: An object is to enable a user to more readily design a maintenance plan according to the type of an abnormality of road. A first abnormal section that is a road section having a road condition of a first abnormality and a second abnormal section that is a road section having the road condition of a second abnormality that is different from the first abnormality are detected, based on vehicle information from a plurality of vehicles. Out of roads in a displayed map, the first abnormal section is provided with the state information in a first display mode, and the second abnormal section is provided with the state information in a second display mode that is different from the first display mode. The first abnormal section and the second abnormal section provided with the state information are displayed in a display device.
