  • Patent number: 8314372
Abstract: A heating roller performs electromagnetic induction heating, and includes a first exciting coil that heats the heating roller, a first degaussing coil that decreases magnetic fields of the first exciting coil, and a first axial direction core that guides magnetic fluxes, to make up a magnetic circuit between the first axial direction core and the heating roller. The width of a heat zone is controlled in agreement with a sheet feeding area. Thus, the capability to control a temperature increase in a non-sheet-feeding area of the heating roller is enhanced. Power can be saved during continual feeding of small recording sheets.

  • Publication number: 20110073587
Abstract: There are provided a heating roller that performs electromagnetic induction heating; a first exciting coil that heats the heating roller; a first degaussing coil that decreases magnetic fields of the first exciting coil; and a first axial direction core that guides magnetic fluxes, to thus make up a magnetic circuit between the first axial direction core and the heating roller. The first exciting coil has parallel portions extending in parallel with the axial direction of the heating roller and two turn portions provided at both ends of the parallel portions. The first degaussing coil has parallel portions extending in parallel with the axial direction of the heating roller and two turn portions provided at both ends of the parallel portions.

  • Publication number: 20080125705
Abstract: A therapeutic treatment device for body lumen occlusion of the invention includes: a pliable tubular main body portion including a fluid path inside thereof, the pliable tubular main body portion being inserted into a body lumen; an energy generating portion disposed on a side of one end of the main body portion; and an aperture portion communicating with the fluid path, the aperture portion being disposed in proximity to the energy generating portion. This allows the present invention to achieve a therapeutic treatment device for body lumen occlusion inexpensively produceable with a simple constitution, which can prevent damaging a body lumen and selectively occlude the body lumen.

  • Patent number: 5697939
Abstract: An apparatus for holding a medical instrument, such as an endoscope, in place without exerting an undue force on an insertion hole in an abdominal cavity of a subject even when the arm of a scope-holding section is unlocked, includes a four-link parallelogram mechanism. The four-link parallelogram mechanism includes a support arm for supporting a treating tool, an arm section parallel to the support arm and upper and lower arm sections connected to the upper and lower end sides of the support arm and arm section in a parallel relation. A support mechanism supports the arm sections of the four-link parallelogram mechanism to allow the arm sections to be moved in left/right and up/down directions, while being rotated, so that a straight line connecting an intersecting point P of a center line of the treating instrument inserted into an insertion hole in an abdominal wall of a subject and the center of the insertion hole to spherical bearings of the arm is set parallel to the upper and lower arm sections.
