  • Publication number: 20240123979
Abstract: An automatic brake control apparatus to be applied to a vehicle is configured to: detect, with an ultrasonic sensor, a position of an obstacle on reverse travel of the vehicle, in which the ultrasonic sensor is disposed in a rear part of the vehicle; set a brake operation area on plane coordinates corresponding to the detected position by the ultrasonic sensor; and actuate an automatic brake. The brake operation area includes a low-speed operation area and a high-speed operation area. The low-speed operation area is set on the reverse travel at a lower speed than a setting vehicle speed, and the high-speed operation area is set on the reverse travel at a higher speed than the setting vehicle speed. The high-speed operation area is wider than the low-speed operation area at least in a vehicle widthwise direction.

  • Patent number: 9594289
Abstract: A lens drive unit includes: a driven member that moves a lens in an optical axis direction; a first gear rotated by a drive force of a drive motor; a second gear rotated by a drive force of a manual operation section; a third gear that engages with the first gear and the second gear and is rotated when the first gear is rotated but the second gear is not rotated whereas rotated when the second gear is rotated but the first gear is not rotated; and a fourth gear rotated when the third gear is rotated to transmit the drive force of the drive motor or the drive force of the manual operation section to the driven member, wherein the reduction ratio of the fourth gear to the first gear is set to be greater than the reduction ratio of the fourth gear to the second gear.

  • Patent number: 8789456
Abstract: A cylinder portion is divided into a cylinder main body, and two side cylinders coupled to opposite ends of the cylinder main body. The cylinder main body is configured so that a sample-enclosing capsule in which a sample and a pressure medium are enclosed can be disposed inside the cylinder main body. Pistons for load transmission are disposed at opposite ends of the interior of the cylinder portion; and locking nuts are provided on the outer sides of the positions. The pistons are moved in an axial direction by screwing the locking nuts. With this configuration, a piston cylinder-type high-pressure generating device in which a cylinder having a small outer diameter is formed of a non-magnetic material can generate a high pressure while securing a sample space having a predetermined effective volume.

  • Patent number: 5309559
Abstract: On processing an input picture into a processed picture in compliance with an input concatenated-command, a command editing unit edits the input concatenated-command into an edited concatenated-command which is equivalent in function to the input concatenated-command and is less in length than the input concatenated-command. A command executing unit executes the edited concatenated-command for the input picture to produce the processed picture. Preferably, the command editing unit has a dividing unit which processes the input concatenated-command into a succession of elementary commands. A combining unit combines the elementary commands into the edited concatenated-command by deleting, from the succession of the elementary commands, a succession of a particular elementary command and an inverse elementary command which immediately succeeds the particular elementary command and is inverse in function to the particular elementary command.
