  • Patent number: 8087370
Abstract: [Object] Conventionally, measures for securing stability of a ship when it is damaged are required. [Solution] The invention is characterized by having a remotely openable seawater inlet means provided to a lowermost watertight deck that forms a void space at the bottom of the ship. Thereby, when a side shell plate or the like of the ship is damaged and seawater enters the ship, the seawater that has entered the ship can be introduced into the void space by opening the seawater inlet means provided to the lowermost watertight deck, so that the void space, which usually provides a huge auxiliary buoyancy, can be made to function as a sort of a seawater ballast tank, whereby the ship's stability can be recovered.

  • Patent number: 7369328
Abstract: A resin molding body has two faces (front face 15 and lower face 19) perpendicular to each other, and also has a total reflecting face 23 approximately having an angle of 45° with respect to these two faces. Plural collimating lenses 16 and a spacer 17 are integrally formed on one face. Plural collimating lenses 20 and a spacer 21 are also integrally formed on the other face. A wall taking-away portion 26 is concavely arranged between the two faces so as to be located on the rear face side of the total reflecting face 23. Guide holes 18, 22 for inserting guide pins thereinto and connected to optical connectors, etc. are bored on the two faces of the resin molding body.

Abstract: [Problem] An optical path converting type optical coupling element able to be bidirectionally used and restrain the number of parts at its minimum is provided. [Means for Resolution] A resin molding body has two faces (front face 15 and lower face 19) perpendicular to each other, and also has a total reflecting face 23 approximately having an angle of 45° with respect to these two faces. • Publication number: 20050158005
Abstract: An optical fiber holding member in which occurrence of defectives is prevented by increasing the degree of accuracy in pitches of the optical fibers with a simplified manufacturing method, and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. A deflection generating block is disposed in a cavity for molding a holder, and a positioning block is disposed in contact with the cavity. The deflection generating block is formed with V-shaped holding grooves for the optical fibers. The positioning block has grooves for placing the optical fibers. The holding grooves and the grooves are shifted laterally of the extending direction of the optical fibers. The optical fibers and the positioning surfaces of the grooves are in press-contact by a resilient restoring force of the optical fibers, and are positioned in the lateral or vertical direction. In this state, resin is injected into the cavity, whereby obtaining the optical fiber holding member.

  • Patent number: 5880653
Abstract: A manufacturing method for an electromagnetic relay whereby a base block 20 is monolithically molded to terminals 21-24 and connector tabs 62 provided in a lead frame 60. After separating the terminals 21-24 from the lead frame 60 and bending the terminals, a permanent magnet 30 and armature block 40 are assembled into the base block 20. A case 50 is then pressed down over the base block 20 to separate the base block 20 from the connector tabs 62 of the lead frame 60. Electrical inspection and aging treatment can thus be accomplished with the base block 20 connected to the lead frame 60, improving assembly precision and productivity.
