Abstract: A print system for use through a network comprises a service system connected to the network and having a storage section in which a plurality of data are stored in a plurality of data storing locations; and a printer client system connected to the network and having a printer, wherein the printer client system accesses the service system through the network so as to obtain a data storing location of request data, downloads the request data from the obtained data storing location of the storage section, and conducts printing on the basis of the request data by the printer; and wherein the printer client system notifies the printing result to the service system.

Abstract: There is described an image-processing apparatus that is provided with a receiving section to receive jobs, each of which includes image data; an arithmetic calculating section to convert the image data to print data for every job; a storage section to store the jobs received by the receiving section and the print data converted by the arithmetic calculating section for every job; an outputting section to output the print data to a printing section for every job; and a controlling section to control a receiving processing applied for the jobs in the receiving section, a conversion processing applied for each of the jobs in the arithmetic calculating section and an output processing applied for each of the jobs in the outputting section. Accordingly, the image-processing apparatus can separately control a receiving state of each of the jobs, a converting state of each of the jobs and an outputting state of each of the jobs.

Abstract: The printing system includes a service server system, from which data is downloaded, and a printer client downloads the data and conducts image output based on the data. In the printing system, the service server system acquires information to specify the printer client from the printer client itself that requests access to the service server system. The service server system specifies abstract data, allowed to be transmitted to the printer client, in accordance with a copyright protection level and the printer client downloads the abstract data specified by the service server system to conduct image output.

Abstract: A dicing apparatus is provided with a first position for feeding a workpiece before dicing, a movable machining table capable of retaining the workpiece, a second position for mounting the workpiece before dicing on the machining table, a third position for washing the diced workpieces, a fourth position for retaining the washed workpieces, a dicing mechanism provided at a dicing range spaced apart from the second position, for dicing the workpiece, and a transferring mechanism for transferring the workpiece from the first position to the second position, from the second position to the third position, from the third position to fourth position, respectively.

Abstract: An apparatus for forming an image comprises a plurality of light emitting elements each emitting light having substanitially the same peak wavelength as those of others; a conveyor to convey a recording medium to receive light emitted from the plurality of light emitting elements relative to the plurality of light emitting elements; and a controller to control the plurality of light emitting elements such that a single pixel on the recording medium is formed by light emitted from at least two pieces of light emitting elements.

Abstract: An image-scanning apparatus for inputting image data to an image processing device. The apparatus includes an image document holding cassette for holding an image document, a document holder stacker for storing the image document holding cassettes therein, and supplying the image document holding cassette into a scanner, the scanner for irradiating the image document located on a document supporting table and inputting the image data from the irradiated image document with an input sensor through a magnification mechanism, the magnification mechanism for changing the magnification of the image document at said input sensor so that the magnification of the image data is changed, and the document supporting table being capable of changing the angle of the image document to the scanner so that the angle of the image data is changed.

Abstract: A method of forming a gradated image by using a thermal printer wherein a thermal head having a plurality of lined-up heating elements scans in one direction and the surface of thermal paper is fed in a secondary scanning direction intermittently and synchronously with the scanning movement of the thermal head. The method comprising the steps of setting a feed amount of the thermal paper to a level which is not greater than 1/2 of the length of arrangement of the heating elements, advancing the thermal paper to the position where the sections formed between the preceding printing sections become the subsequent printing sections.
