  • Patent number: 7850503
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel is provided. The method includes making a front substrate and a rear substrate individually and applying a low melting point glass paste including non-porous bead onto a portion of the front substrate or the rear substrate so that the applied low melting point glass paste forms a frame-like shape having a height greater than that of the structural member. The method includes assembling the front substrate and the rear substrate in a face-to-face relation with each other and burning the applied low melting point glass paste while vacuuming a discharge gas space between the front substrate and the rear substrate so as to seal the front substrate and the rear substrate.

  • Patent number: 7624985
Abstract: A reel assembly of the invention includes a first elastic member capable of axial and circumferential deformation at the joint between a motor shaft and a reel. A motor exerts torque on the reel through circumferential deformation of the first elastic member, which absorbs circumferential vibrations of the reel at a stop position. A fastening member coupled to the shaft includes a second elastic member capable of axial deformation. The fastening member presses the second elastic member against the reel in the axial direction to secure the reel on the shaft and compress the first elastic member. The second elastic member absorbs axial vibrations of the reel at a stop position. When the first elastic member is made of elastomer, its circumferential elasticity varies with axial compressions, and accordingly, the circumferential elasticity is easy to optimize in order to absorb the circumferential vibrations of a reel of whatever size and weight.

  • Publication number: 20080078297
Abstract: The invention provides a technique which can improve a printing precision of a screen printing. A fixing mechanism for fixing a screen mask of a printer to a mask holder is structured such as to include a first fixing mechanism fixing sides of four sides of a frame existing in an outer peripheral edge of the screen mask arranged along an arrow corresponding to a sliding direction of a squeegee, and the mask holder, and a second fixing mechanism fixing a side of four sides of the frame arranged along a direction intersecting the arrow and in an opposite direction to the arrow as seen from the slide starting position, and the mask holder.

  • Publication number: 20080034991
Abstract: A technique which enables screen printing on a large printed object is provided. A screen frame of a screen mask has a lower surface (third surface), a screen-mesh holding unit which holds a screen mesh, a surface (fourth surface) which is different from the lower surface, and a screen-frame fixing unit which is fixed in a state in which a first contact region which is a part or the entirety of the surface is in contact with a screen-frame holder of a printing device. The position of the first contact region in a cross section of the screen frame cut from the upper surface toward the lower surface is present above the lower surface.

  • Publication number: 20060093734
Abstract: A method of applying a phosphor paste of PDP includes the steps of disposing a screen mask on a substrate formed with a number of barrier ribs, applying a phosphor paste on the screen mask, and filling phosphor paste into cells by discharging the phosphor paste from apertures of the screen mask. The barrier ribs are formed on the substrate so that the each concave part becoming the cell forms independent space. The screen mask includes filling apertures and discharging apertures. Each of filling apertures is formed on a position corresponding to the concave part becoming the cell. Each of the discharging apertures is formed between the filling apertures so as to remove air outside, the air being accumulated within the cell when the phosphor paste is filled in the cell.
