  • Patent number: 7428409
Abstract: To provide a method of obtaining user data to be transmitted to a network side, which can simplify the processing for selecting and combining optimum user data from user data including a transport block transmitted from the same mobile terminal, to minimize a delay. The method comprises a step of numerically expressing a plurality of parameters in the protocol used at the time of transmitting the user data; a step of obtaining values of evaluation parameters by adding the plurality of numerically expressed parameters; a step of selecting an optimum transport block based on the obtained values of the evaluation parameters; and a step of obtaining user data to be transmitted to the network side, by combining the selected optimum transport blocks.

  • Publication number: 20040146027
Abstract: To enable subscribers to comfortably receive service, telecommunications carrier to increase the number of subscribers, and to allow base stations to reduce the processing burden. The effective Rate measuring portion measures the average effective Rate of the subscriber at the monitoring period Tn and the comparison portion monitors these results. The channel switching control portion carries out channel switching based on the report from the comparison portion if the average effective Rate falls below the threshold value Sdc or rises above the threshold value Scd. Since the value of the threshold value Scd can be decreased in proportion to the frequency of switching from CCH to DCH, the extent to which the subscriber can use the DCH is increased.

  • Patent number: 6687512
Abstract: A wireless system that can switch the communication mode based on the type of a signal inputted into the system is provided. The wireless system comprises a subscriber terminal that is connected to devices which output audio signals or data signals and switches the signal path between an audio signal path and a data signal path based on the type of a signal inputted from the devices, and a base station that switches the signal path between an audio signal path and a data signal path based on the type of a signal inputted from a general public line network. The subscriber terminal and the base station are wirelessly connected.

  • Patent number: 4818853
Abstract: A data card which can be resiliently flexed to a degree. The data card includes a laminated structure member having at least a synthetic resin protective layer and a ferromagnetic material layer, an electric circuit device embedded in the laminated structure member and an electro-magnetic transducer having a pair of coils which are formed on the laminated structure member. The pair of coils are coupled to the electric circuit device for generating magnetic fluxes of opposite directions with each other according to an information signal applied from the electric circuit device. Alternatively, the pair of coils are provided for receiving magnetic fluxes of opposite directions with each other and coupled to the electric circuit device for applying an electric signal generated by the magnetic fluxes of opposite directions thereto.

  • Patent number: 4803350
Abstract: An IC element is incorporated in a card substrate, and includes at least a memory in which data can be stored and from which it can be read out. A pre-processing section is incorporated in the card substrate, to receive an output from the IC element. The pre-processing section pre-enhances readout data from the memory of the IC element, so as to substantially attenuate high-frequency components of the data. A transducer is incorporated in the card substrate to receive an output from the pre-processing section. The transducer generates a magnetic field corresponding to the data read out from the memory of the IC element and supplied via the pre-processing section.
