  • Publication number: 20090255543
Abstract: A method of chiropractic treatment in which a patient's head and legs are moved along predetermined paths each having plural transit points on a circle having its center along the axis of the patient's spine. Each transit point has a counterpart transit point located at a position symmetric with the transit point with respect to the center of the circle. Each path has plural sub-paths each extending along a curve from a transit point and through the center of the circle to a counterpart transit point, wherein, during the movement of the patient's legs along a sub-path, the head is moved along a different sub-path starting from a transit point corresponding to the counterpart transit point of the movement of the legs.

  • Patent number: 5978655
Abstract: An information processing apparatus has a transmission antenna and a reception antenna and performs radio transmission/reception with a radio card via the two antennas, thereby performing predetermined information processing. Each of the transmission antenna and reception antenna is formed of a loop antenna. Both antennas are made to overlap each other by a predetermined length so as to prevent mutual electromagnetic interference and are situated in substantially the same plane. Accordingly, even if the transmission antenna and reception antenna are situated close to each other, a signal radiated from the transmission antenna is prevented from interfering with the reception antenna. Thus, the reception antenna can surely receive only a signal radiated from the radio card or an object of communication.

  • Patent number: 5661757
Abstract: To receive a response signal from a radio card, a card reader transmits a carrier (not modulated) to the radio card. In the radio card, a phase modulator phase-modulates the a sub-carrier with a response signal, thereby generating a PSK signal, and a phase modulator phase-modulates the carrier with the PSK signal, producing a PSK-PSK signal. The PSK-PSK signal is supplied to an antenna via a signal-extracting device. The antenna sends the PSK-PSK signal toward the card reader. In the card reader, a distributor distributes the PSK-PSK signal to a synchronous detector and an orthogonal detector. The detectors performs synchronous detection by using carriers which differ in phase by 90.degree.. Low-pass filters extract sub-carrier components from the outputs of the detectors. The sub-carrier components are delayed and detected by delay detectors and added together by an adder.

  • Patent number: 4792996
Abstract: An information medium comprising a receiving section, a transmitting section, and a transfer-control section. The receiving section receives instructions from an external device. The transmitting section transmits data to the external device. The transfer-control means detects the ID code contained in any instruction information supplied to the receiving section, and changes the transfer program stored in memory when the ID code specifies a program-change instruction. The changed program is supplied to the external device via the transmitting section, so as to be recognized by the external device. Any instruction information supplied to the information medium has an enabling code field, an identification code field, a data field, and an end code field. The transfer-control section includes a control section and a memory unit.

  • Patent number: 4641374
Abstract: An information medium used for receiving/delivering information from/to an exterior device, which includes a receiver circuit for receiving a modulated input signal from the exterior device, a demodulator for demodulating the modulated input signal to provide specific information, a decoder for decoding the specific information to provide a decoded instruction, a memory for storing given data, a controller for controlling a write or read operation of the memory in accordance with the contents of the decoded instruction, a modulator for generating a modulated signal which corresponds to data read-out from the memory, a transmitter circuit for delivering to the exterior device a transmission signal corresponding to the modulated signal, a battery for generating electric power, and a switch circuit for selectively supplying the electric power to any of the receiver circuit, demodulator, modulator and transmitter circuit.
