  • Patent number: 6127318
Abstract: A composition comprising N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine or a salt thereof and a triazolinone herbicide is described. The composition can optionally comprise inert ingredients such as a surfactant, an emulsifier, a solvent, or a carrier. Triazolinone herbicides of particular interest in this composition include carfentrazone-ethyl and sulfentrazone.

  • Patent number: 6083875
Abstract: The present invention relates to a solid herbicidal composition comprising:a) oxyfluorfen herbicide dissolved in at leasti) a surfactant selected from alkoxylated acetylenic diol surfactants;ii) a surfactant selected from polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether surfactants, andiii) an alkoxylated organosilicone based surfactant,iv) a phosphate solvent of low water solubility, the ratio by weight of phosphate solvent to oxyfluorfen being lower than 3 to 1; andb) a water-soluble salt of N-phosphonomethylglycine, and optionallyc) an inorganic carrier, and to a process for the production thereof.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 21, 1995

  • Patent number: 6051533
Abstract: This invention relates to dry, water soluble, pesticidally acceptable particulate compositions, to a method of use thereof for killing or controlling pests including weeds and to a process for preparing such compositions. This invention also relates to dry, water soluble and/or water dispersible, pesticidally acceptable particulate herbicidal compositions containing one or more herbicides, a herbicidal method of use thereof and to a process for preparing such compositions. The dissolution or dispersible rates of particulate pesticidal compositions in water are enhanced by the presence of a small but effective amount of an organosilicone block copolymer wetting agent or a fluorocarbon wetting agent.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 5998332
Abstract: Aqueous concentrate herbicidal compositions are provided comprising a herbicidally effective amount of ammonium salt of N-phosphonomethylglycine wherein the molar ratio of ammonia to N-phosphonomethylglycine provides a pH of about 6 to about 7, and a herbicidal efficacy enhancing amount of one or more surfactants. Compositions of the invention are storage-stable over a wide range of temperatures. Also provided is a method of killing or controlling vegetation comprising diluting a composition of the invention in water and applying the diluted composition to foliage of the vegetation.
