  • Patent number: 10046130
Abstract: An air-way tube holder includes a face plate having a v-shaped tube-receiving surface that aligns with one side of an opening through the face plate, and a holding block, which is disposed near a second side of the opening. The holding block receives a thumb screw and an engagement arm, the latter including a clamping head, which directly opposes the tube-receiving surface. The thumb screw is adapted to move the clamping head toward the tube-receiving surface to immobilize an airway tube therebetween, either by sliding the thumb screw (gross adjustment) or turning the thumb screw (fine adjustment). The thumb screw/clamping head is releasable by actuating a quick-release mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20150272503
Abstract: Pulse meter comprising a first electrode (4) and second electrode (5), which are adapted to be arranged in contact with a patient body part (9). The first and the second electrode (4, 5) are arranged on a first arm (1) and a second arm (2), respectively. The first and second arm (1, 2) extend out from a central portion (3), and the respective first ends (4a, 5a) of the first and second arm (1, 2) are arranged to be bent away from each other when the pulse meter (10) is being arranged into the applied position on the patient body part (9).

  • Patent number: 7993290
Abstract: A system is disclosed for providing feedback regarding chest compressions in CPR comprising a measuring unit, a processing unit and a display unit, where the measuring unit comprises a depth measuring device, a force measuring device, or both. The processing unit comprises a depth signal device and/or a force signal device and a threshold device. The processing unit is adapted to output a signal depending on the values of depth and/or force signals with respect to the thresholds. The display unit comprises at least one indicator and is adapted to activate the indicators based on the output from the processing device. The system thus measures and processes chest compressions and provides feedback to the user with respect to the characteristics of the compressions.

The processing unit comprises a depth signal device and/or a force signal device and a threshold device. The processing unit is structured to output a signal depending on the values of depth and/or force signals with respect to the thresholds. The display unit comprises at least one indicator and is structured to activate the indicators based on the output from the processing device. The system thus measures and processes chest compressions and provide feedback to the user with respect to the characteristics of the compressions.
