  • Publication number: 20220365120
Abstract: A method for measuring electric currents and a method for measuring electrical voltages. The method uses a mathematical model of the measuring system to compensate for error effects of the real system compared to an ideal system, thereby enabling a highly accurate measuring system. An energy meter compensates for the error effects of the real measuring system.

  • Patent number: 10268461
Abstract: A method for global data flow optimization for machine learning (ML) programs. The method includes receiving, by a storage device, an initial plan for an ML program. A processor builds a nested global data flow graph representation using the initial plan. Operator directed acyclic graphs (DAGs) are connected using crossblock operators according to inter-block data dependencies. The initial plan for the ML program is re-written resulting in an optimized plan for the ML program with respect to its global data flow properties. The re-writing includes re-writes of: configuration dataflow properties, operator selection and structural changes.

  • Publication number: 20180354012
Abstract: A machining device for an element to be machined includes a moving unit, a machining unit and a control element. The moving unit is provided with an acceleration unit. The control element and the acceleration unit are designed so that a movement of at least one part of the acceleration unit with at least one component of movement transverse to the direction of movement of the moving unit is mechanically associated with a movement of the moving unit relative to the control element. The acceleration unit is designed so that producing a relative acceleration of the machining unit in relation to the moving unit in the direction of movement of the moving unit is mechanically associated with the movement of at least said part of the acceleration unit.

  • Publication number: 20170087989
Abstract: A method for controlling a motor vehicle comfort system, wherein the control is carried out with the aid of a touch-sensitive display and user interface assigned to the comfort system. In at least one operating mode, the virtual representation of at least one body having a three-dimensional appearance is generated in a first position on the touch-sensitive display and user interface and at least one function that can be executed by the comfort system is represented on the surface of the body, wherein the body is moved after rotating around a horizontal or vertical axis into another position in which at least one other function which can be executed by the comfort system is represented on the visible surface of the body.

  • Patent number: 8132276
Abstract: A simplify mobile patient support apparatus which is suitable for an examination of a patient by a magnetic resonance tomography system is proposed. A first and second actuation facility and a control facility are used. Depending on the operating state of the patient support apparatus whether is docked with or undocked from the magnetic resonance tomography system, actuation of the first and second actuation facilities results either in the coupling or uncoupling of the patient support apparatus to/from the magnetic resonance tomography system or the raising or lowering of a patient support plate of the patient support apparatus. Essential components for docking or undocking or for the vertical adjustment of the patient support plate are integrated in a hydraulic unit.
