  • Patent number: 11677180
Abstract: A connector for connecting underwater cables includes: a connection housing in which the cables enter parallel to each other and parallel to a first direction; and a handling bar, connected to the connection housing by a linking unit hinged along an axis perpendicular to the first direction.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 19, 2019
Date of Patent: June 13, 2023
    Assignee: NAVAL ENERGIES

  • Patent number: 11486517
Abstract: This gland for a sealed feedthrough of an orifice of a partition using a filiform component such as an electric cable, in particular, of the type including: a gland body for the passage of the filiform component, sealingly fixed to the partition to be passed through opposite the orifice; a seal in the form of a deformable sleeve, placed in a corresponding housing of the gland body, around the component; and a component forming a rammer for compressing the seal in the form of a deformable sleeve and deforming them in the housing of the gland body against the filiform component, so as to provide the seal between the gland body and the filiform component. The seal in the form of a deformable sleeve is in the form of a stack of annular seals.
