  • Publication number: 20080156137
Abstract: An industrial robot including a contact panel having one or several contacts to allow connection to the industrial robot of one or several cables through which energy, signals or a substance may pass to and/or from the industrial robot. A cover forms part of an outer surface of the industrial robot. Each one of the one or several contacts of the contact panel protrudes through an opening in the cover so as to be accessible from the outside of the industrial robot. The contact panel is mounted to and supported by a holder that is secured in an internal cavity of the industrial robot so as to allow the contact panel to be held in place in the industrial robot when the cover is removed.

  • Publication number: 20080134290
Abstract: A device for automatically controlling access between a local area network and a wide area network is disclosed. The device includes a switch which is positioned between the local area network and the wide area network to disconnect the local area network from the wide area network. The switch is further arranged to be automatically controlled based on a system-generated input signal, the signal indicating the expected need for access between the local area network and the wide are network the device being adapted to keep the switch disconnected when the input signal indicates that no need for access between the local area network and the wide area network is expected. Thus, the time during which the local area network is connected to the wide area network, and consequently the time during which the local area network is vulnerable to outside attacks, can be significantly reduced. A method for automatically controlling access between a local area network and a wide area network is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070071727
Abstract: In vitro cultivation method for producing human melanocytes which are capable of melanin and/or L-dopa synthesis, and to various uses of said melanocyte(s). In one preferred aspect, said melanocyte(s) are used in an autologous implantation method in a patient suffering from a neurodegenerative disease, e.g. Parkinson's disease. In another aspect, a screening method is provided utilizing melanocyte(s) from said cultures, wherein substances are screened for which may in any way effect said melanocyte(s). Said substances may e.g., be neurotoxic, neuroprotective, or particularly lethal to melanocytes obtained from a patient suffering from Parkinson's disease. The invention also relates to other uses of said melanocytes, all of which are disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 7022163
Abstract: In a vehicle air is compressed for being used in the brake system of the vehicle, for instance. In the compressor, used for the compression, the air is contaminated with oil and solid particles. In order to be relieved from these particles, before the air is conveyed through a drying filter, the compressed is brought to rotation by means of a rotating member in a centrifugal separator. The rotating member may advantageously include a pile of conical separation discs forming flow passages between each other for the compressed air to be cleaned. By means of an efficient cleaning of the compressed air from particles the life time of the drying filter may be increased.
