  • Patent number: 8157477
Abstract: A system for trench and drain installation. The system utilizes an implement driven trenching assembly and a backfill pipe installation assembly. The implement driven trenching assembly digs a trench utilizing a circular trenching blade which is hydraulically operated and is mounted onto a front loader plate. The backfill pipe installation assembly uses a backfill hopper to simultaneously install drainage pipe above the trench floor and envelop the drainage pipe in backfill material to maintain the drainage pipe at a constant height above the trench floor.

  • Publication number: 20110002762
Abstract: A site dumper elevation, rotation, and moving floor hopper implement. The implement includes a material bed for conveying material from one site location to another. The material bed has a bed side wall and a first bed gate. The bed side wall defines an upper bed wall edge and a lower bed wall edge. The material bed further has an open top, a bed tilt hinge arranged near said first bed gate and a moving floor for transferring the material towards or away from the first bed gate. The moving floor defines the bottom wall of the material bed. A first lift arm is configured to tilt the material bed and the moving floor about the bed tilt hinge at an angular distance. An undercarriage is configured to support the material bed, the moving floor, and the lift arm. The undercarriage further is configured to rotate a rotational distance about a vertically aligned axis.

  • Publication number: 20090263195
Abstract: A system for trench and drain installation. The system utilizes an implement driven trenching assembly and a backfill pipe installation assembly. The implement driven trencher assembly digs a trench utilizing a circular trenching blade which is hydraulically operated and is mounted onto the front loader plate. The backfill pipe installation assembly uses a backfill hopper to simultaneously install drainage pipe above the trench floor and envelope the drainage pipe in backfill material to maintain the drainage pipe that a constant height above the trench floor.

  • Publication number: 20060147934
Abstract: The polyprenyl phosphate: N-acetylhexosamine-1-phosphate transferase family are glycosyl transferase enzymes of interest in the development of antibacterial treatments. The bacterial proteins WecA and MraY are exemplary transferases, each of which catalyzes the transfer of a specific hexosamine 1-P from a soluble UDP-hexosamine substrate to a polyprenyl phosphate carrier at the membrane surface. The present invention provides a generalizable, high throughput, one-pot assay for this type of enzymatic activity by incorporating a solid-liquid, bead-based separation system to selectively adsorb the highly hydrophobic products of the reaction. By judicious choice of radiolabeled UDP-hexosamine precursor, the assay format can be used to quantitate the products of diverse members of this transferase family as well as enzymes that catalyze the further modification of these transferase products.

  • Publication number: 20050277090
Abstract: A tooth implant is used to replace a front tooth which has been lost or extracted. The implant comprises an anchoring part which is provided with an outer thread and which is applied in a recess formed in the jaw bone at the site of the lost or extracted tooth, a spacer sleeve part intended to extend through the gum of the jaw bone, and a prepared or preparable part which adjoins the spacer sleeve part and is intended to support a dental crown, for example. The anchoring part, the spacer sleeve part and the prepared or preparable part are arranged in one piece, the configuration and direction of the prepared or preparable part being substantially adapted or adaptable to the anatomy of the lost or extracted tooth, for example to the inner arc-shaped surface, and to the direction of said tooth. The one-piece implant affords a rapid and less traumatic replacement function compared to previously used three-part bridges.
