    Abstract: A trailer angle measurement assembly that measures an angle of a trailer relative to a tractor includes a mounting base, an armature, a roller wheel and a rotary encoder. The mounting base is configured to be selectively coupled to the trailer. The armature is rotatable coupled to the mounting base around a pivot. The roller wheel is rotatably coupled to the armature and is positioned for rotatable engagement with the trailer. The rotary encoder measures rotation of the roller wheel and generates a signal based on the measured rotation indicative of an angular position of the trailer relative to the tractor.
