A male pin can project from the central passage of the male connector body. The male pin can include a plurality of male contacts and be insertible into the central passage of the female connector. The male connector can also include a sleeve slidably displaceable over the male pin between a first position in which the sleeve covers the plurality of male contacts in a protected condition, and a second position in which the sleeve is retracted and exposes the plurality of male contacts.
