  • Patent number: 11794337
Abstract: A gripping device has at least one tendon associated with a gripping arm and guided in a freely slidable manner along a first and second arm portion thereof through a succession of guiding elements. The guiding elements associated with a first proximal arm portion of the arms are carried by an inner yielding panel so that when the inner yielding panel on the inner side of the first proximal arm portion engages against an item or component to be gripped, the guiding elements of the tendon carried by the inner yielding panel cause a tensioning of the tendon, which results in an articulation and/or inflection movement of a second distal arm portion with respect to the first proximal arm portion.

Assignee: C.R.F. SOCIETA CONSORTILE PER AZIONI
Inventors: Alessandro Zanella, Michal Jilich, Giorgio Pietronave, Matteo Zoppi
  • Patent number: 11167428
Abstract: Described herein is a suction-type gripping device including a suction-cup and configured for handling a component, for example a sheet-metal component for a motor vehicle. The device includes a plurality of pins that can slide with respect to the suction cup. The pins define a variable-geometry bed configured for reproducing the geometry of the component to be handled.

  • Patent number: 9089973
Abstract: A gripper for grasping and handling textiles and other flexible materials includes an external body housing a driving unit, which actuates a plurality of sliding elements moving away and approaching symmetrically; and a plurality of gripping members, each connected to one of the sliding elements by a first transmission group that includes a kinematic chain with levers that invert motion such that, during the approaching of the sliding elements, the gripping members move away from each other, and during the distancing of the sliding elements, the gripping members approach each other.

  • Patent number: 8991169
Abstract: A method for adapting stiffness in a variable stiffness actuator includes a member configured to transmit motion that is connected to a fluidic circuit, into which a control fluid circulates. The fluidic circuit includes a supply and distribution unit of the control fluid having a reservoir of the control fluid and a pumping unit. The supply and distribution unit includes two distribution lines of the control fluid, which are fluidly connected to the actuator such that an increase and/or decrease in the pressure of the control fluid activates the member that transmits motion. The stiffness of the actuator is adapted by adapting the pressure of the control fluid into the two distribution lines. The present invention includes also a variable stiffness actuator utilizing the above method for adapting stiffness.

  • Patent number: 8495811
Abstract: A bench for the support and manufacturing of parts with complex geometry includes a support base on which one or more mobile units of support/manufacturing move. The mobile units of support/manufacturing can move and relocate independently from other ones on the surface of the support base. The mobile units of support/manufacturing include at least two adhesion feet configured to connect to anchoring elements distributed on the surface of the support base. The anchoring points are distributed on the surface of the support base with a predefined distribution according to a geometry, such that the distance between any anchoring point, and the corresponding anchoring element, from any other said anchoring point, and the corresponding anchoring organ, in the immediate vicinity of the anchoring point and the corresponding anchoring organ, is constant and equal to the radius of a predefined circle.

  • Publication number: 20130189065
Abstract: A device for the loading/unloading of goods includes a storage room, having an aperture located on a plane parallel to the back wall, and a system for the loading/unloading of the goods having a picking fork, which in turn includes a support slider configured to carry two or more fork prongs and to translate along the bottom floor of the storage room from the back wall in the direction of the aperture and vice versa, such that the two or more fork prongs move from a retracted configuration to an extracted configuration. The two fork prongs may be repositioned vertically and be mounted on guides present on the support slider, such that each of the two fork prongs translates independently from the other in a direction parallel to the plane of the bottom floor.
