Abstract: In example implementations, a powder level sensor is provided. The powder level sensor includes a capacitive sensor, a processor, and a cleaning mechanism. The processor is communicatively coupled to the capacitive sensor. The processor interprets a measurement of the capacitive sensor to detect a layer of residual build material on a surface of the powder level sensor. The cleaning mechanism may be communicatively coupled to the processor. The processor activates the cleaning mechanism to remove the layer of residual build material on the surface of the powder level sensor.

  • Publication number: 20210400640
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to communications with preconfigured uplink resources (PUR). A method implemented at a terminal device comprises identifying a need to change a transmission configuration of the terminal device, the terminal device being in a transmission mode with a set of preconfigured uplink resources (PURs) allocated for the terminal device to transmit user data to a network device; and in response to identifying the need to change the transmission configuration, transmitting control information to the network device using a first PUR in the set of PURs, the control information comprising information relevant to the change of the transmission configuration. In this way, it is possible to enable the terminal device to save power, time, and resources by bypassing a full random access procedure when the transmission configuration is needed to be changed.

  • Publication number: 20210337717
Abstract: Sharing planter data is made efficient through an initial separation of agricultural data before transmission of the same. During performance of agricultural tasks, generated data is stored in files representing geographic regions. Several data layers of the files correspond to various agricultural aspects which can then be selectively transmitted with smaller parsed files. The received data can be harmonized into the same format used by the receiving agricultural implement. Sharing planter data in this way obviates performance degradation for rural cellular networks.

  • Publication number: 20210337723
Abstract: Continued and precise operation of an agricultural implement exists even where a subsystem, such as a GPS receiver, wireless communicator, a sensor, or the like, fails, falters, or is otherwise unusable. Data is continually tracked to the extent possible during failure or faltering and is temporarily stored. To continue operations during periods of unavailability, a representation of planted ground is anticipated by other agricultural implements and/or calculated with agricultural data from other agricultural implements. Normal operations then continue until data sync can catch back up to real-time.

  • Publication number: 20210314851
Abstract: Method, apparatus and computer program product where a base station broadcasts a signal indicating that at least one time-frequency region, which is unused by a data transmission in a first radio access technology, is available for a transmission, allowing the base station to maintain support for and/or extending coverage of certain legacy user equipment. Such a transmission includes system information for a second radio access technology, wake-up signal, synchronization signal, and/or extension of the data transmission. Thereafter, the base station transmits such a transmission in the at least one time-frequency region that was indicated.

  • Publication number: 20210107104
Abstract: The Rivet Pattern Pitch Gauge is a tool designed to properly space rivets or other fasteners in an aircraft skin repair. The tool consists of a straight edge with measure markings, a row of teeth set at a forty-five degree angle, and a corner that has a half inch radius gauge built in. The tool uses the teeth, which are six times the diameter of the fastener in height and length, to evenly space the fasteners when laying out the aircraft skin repair. It is this spacing coupled with the forty-five degree angled teeth that allow for accurate and quick repair layouts and that differentiate the Rivet Pattern Pitch Gauge from other fastener spacing tools.
