  • Publication number: 20240152730
Abstract: A system comprising a first expired drug usability device is provided. The first expired drug usability device comprises a first spectrometer and one or more first processors. The first processors are configured to: obtain at least one expired drug machine learning-artificial intelligence (ML-AI) model associated with a pharmaceutical drug; obtain drug expiration information of a sample of the pharmaceutical drug, wherein the drug expiration information comprises spectrometer data associated with using the first spectrometer on the sample; input the drug expiration information into the at least one expired drug ML-AI model to determine usability information associated with the sample of the pharmaceutical drug; and perform one or more actions based on the usability information.

  • Publication number: 20240090793
Abstract: A system, apparatus and method directed to a magnetizer. The magnetizer can include a housing and one or more magnets positioned in an interior of the housing. The housing can include a top face, a bottom face, and a plurality of side faces adjoining the top face and the bottom face. The top face can include a first opening configured to receive a needle, the first opening having a first cross-sectional area. One of the plurality of side faces can include a second opening having a second cross-sectional area. The second cross-sectional area can be at least one third of the first cross-sectional area.

  • Publication number: 20240090365
Abstract: A method for calibrating a seed meter. The method comprises a step of providing the seed meter and a calibration disc. The seed meter comprises a motor with a driveshaft, and the driveshaft is configured to be positioned by the motor in an uncorrected home position. An additional step includes engaging the calibration disc with the seed meter, with the calibration disc including a plurality of indicia on a surface of the calibration disc. A further step includes identifying a corrected home position for the driveshaft, with such identifying step including determining, via the calibration disc's indicia, an angular offset between the uncorrected home position and the corrected home position of the driveshaft.

  • Patent number: 11919689
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to an article carrier (90) for packaging a plurality of articles and to a blank (10) for forming the article carrier. The article carrier comprises a plurality of primary panels (12,14,16,18) for forming a tubular structure and defining an interior thereof. The plurality of primary panels includes a first panel (12) and a second panel (14) opposing the first panel. The article carrier further comprises a partition structure for dividing the interior into two or more article-receiving cells. The carrier is formed form a blank comprising a partition-forming section (PS) which comprises a primary partition panel (22,24) and a secondary partition panel(40,44,36,46) formed from the primary partition panel and hingedly connected at one of the opposing ends thereof to the primary partition panel. The upper edge (E1) of the secondary partition panel is defined at least in part by a cutaway (R1) extending from a free end edge (E3) of the blank.

  • Publication number: 20220347819
Abstract: Systems and methods for cleaning and preparing a surface are described. The system includes a housing with a first hopper configured to receive a first material and a second hopper configured to receive a second material. A tube housing an auger may be located where the two hoppers meet. In this way, the materials are mixed in the tube before being pushed through a hose to a nozzle. The mixture can be sprayed out of the nozzle. The mixture only requires a single air source, and the system operates using a combination of gravity, venturi suction, vibration, an auger and the like.

  • Patent number: 11313632
Abstract: Systems and methods for cleaning a heat recovery steam generator system including tubes and fins associated therewith using deep cleaning alignment equipment are described. The deep cleaning alignment equipment primarily includes at least one wedge and at least one wand. The wedge may be an elongate wedge configured to maximize the surface area that contacts the tubes and fins, which in turn minimizes the amount of stress about any specific point of the tubes or the fins. Additionally, the wedge may be made of a soft, composite material, such as a high strength carbon fiber nylon. The composite material is softer than the material that makes the tubes and fins. As a result, when the wedge contacts the tubes and fins, the tubes and fins will not sustain damage. Instead, any damage that may occur would be to the wedge.

  • Publication number: 20200086328
Abstract: Systems and methods for cleaning a precipitator including plates and wires associated therewith using dry ice blasting equipment are described. The dry ice blasting equipment primarily includes an elongate wand. The elongate wand is configured to blast dry ice at a high level of pressure to ensure that debris and biproduct that is caked or coated onto the plates and wires is disengaged from the plates and wires. For instance, the dry ice may be blasted at pressures of at least 100 pounds per square inch, and more preferably at least 400 pounds per square inch. To achieve this pressure, the wand may be at least 2 feet in length, and more preferably at least 6 feet in length.
