A sealing boot is coupled to the housing and the panel to provide an environmental seal between the supply power connector and the panel. The sealing boot is flexible to maintain sealing as the supply power connector floats relative to the panel.

The electrical connector includes a retractable cover located at the contact shroud to close the openings that is movable relative to the housing between a closed position and an open position. A cover actuator is coupled to the housing including a pusher and an actuation element operably coupled to the retractable cover. The pusher is configured to interface with a complimentary actuation element of the mating electrical connector to actuate a retractable cover of the mating electrical connector.

The power input terminal block includes clamp contacts coupled to the take-off tabs each having a base, a spring beam extending from the base, and a cap extending from the spring beam having a poke-in window configured to receive a take-off wire. An edge defining the poke-in window engages the take-off wire and pulls the take-off wire against the wire side of the take-off tab. The power input terminal block includes release levers coupled to the housing to move the spring beam to an extended position to allow loading and removal of the take-off wire from the clamp contact and the take-off tab.

    Abstract: High-speed connectors are identically configured each comprising a housing with a first interconnection feature at one location of the housing and a second interconnection feature at another location of the housing with a channel interposed between the first and second interconnection features.
