  • Patent number: 10988280
Abstract: The present exemplary system and method relates to a feature upon the exterior of a corrugated package that allows an access secondary to the primary opening feature for the inclusion of sample materials that are added after the package has been sealed at the contents' (e.g., appliance) place of manufacture. The benefits of the invention are reduced unit operations and labor to include sample materials. Additionally, the packaging feature will deter theft of sample materials from the product to the point of sale. The theft deterrence is achieved via a tamper-evident label covering the feature after sample materials have been inserted.

  • Publication number: 20200283204
Abstract: Described herein is a packaging clip for releasably securing overlapping packaging panels to one another. The packaging clip includes a biasing element that helps restrain relative movement of the panels in a first configuration, and in a second configuration encourages their release and indicates such to a user. In an implementation, the biasing element is associated with a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a rigid portion that is engageable with each overlapping panel for limiting their relative movement in the first configuration. The locking mechanism is turnable or otherwise manipulateable to release the first and second panels. The biasing element can exert a biasing force that encourages exit of the locking structure, allowing the locking structure to protrude from the panels and provide a visual indication of the released state.

  • Publication number: 20170120203
Abstract: Molecular sieve beads, such as zeolite, used to adsorb and release gas for carbonating a beverage are coated with fumed and/or precipitated silica. Such coating may reduce dust otherwise produced by the beads without inhibiting the beads' ability to adsorb and release gas.

  • Patent number: 7204397
Abstract: A cargo container attachment for a small vehicle such as a lawn tractor is provided. The container is removably attached to the rear of the vehicle and includes a cargo box storage space with a pivotally mounted swingable tailgate. The container is designed to be used in conjunction with a lawn tractor to perform landscaping and structural maintenance tasks. Materials such as mulch, soil and plantings as well as maintenance materials can be transported in the cargo space. The tailgate can be moved between a first position where it serves to enclose the storage space and a second position where its serves as a workbench surface. • Publication number: 20040205580
Abstract: A document management system (10) includes a content repository (14) for storing a file, a management system (12) for monitoring and managing the file in the content repository (14), and an authoring portal (15). The authoring portal (15) embeds ActiveX controls in a document, parses the document, and converts the document into an HTML file. The authoring portal (15) further generates JavaScript codes, thereby enabling the content repository (14) to dynamically respond the input of a user and provide the user with feedback without accessing a database associated with the document. The codes also enable the content repository (14) to dynamically adjust the sequence in which the documents are presented to the user in response to the inputs from the user.

  • Publication number: 20030220914
Abstract: A data transfer and management process includes transferring an XML string representing a tree structure of a folder from a network server (12) to a client station (14A) in response to a request at the client station for accessing the folder. The transferred XML string includes the information regarding all subfolders and the names of all files in the folder, but not the content of the files in the folder. At the client station (14A), the XML string is parsed on demand to generate JavaScript codes to present the descendents of a folder in response to a request for accessing the folder, which may be a root folder or a branch folder. In response to a request of accessing a file in the folder, the client station (14A) initiates a process for transferring the content of the file from the network server (12).
