Patent number: 11977760Abstract: Securely loading digital blocks into memory for consumption by a processor. A method includes, at a memory protection shim, receiving a digital block and a manifest for the digital block. The manifest includes a transformation key for the digital block. The transformation key is configured to be used for at least one of validating the digital block or decrypting the digital block. The manifest is encrypted. The method further includes decrypting the manifest to obtain the transformation keys. The method further includes using the transformation keys to perform at least one of validating or decrypting the digital block. The method further includes retransforming the digital block using a memory protection shim ephemeral key to perform at least one of creating an authentication tag or encrypting the digital block. The method further includes storing the retransformed digital block in memory.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2023Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: IDAHO SCIENTIFIC LLCInventors: Andrew James Weiler, Nathan Charles Chrisman, Claude Harmon Garrett, V, Dale Weston Reese, Matthew Ryan Waltz, Jay Takeji Hirata

Patent number: 11966332Abstract: An apparatus comprising a CPU core configured to execute instructions and consume data. The apparatus includes a memory configured to store the instructions and the data. A memory protection shim is coupled to the CPU core and the memory. The memory protection shim is configured to perform transformations over digital blocks to perform at least one of authentication or decryption of the digital blocks received from the memory. The memory protection shim is coupled to the CPU core in a fashion that prevents egress of the digital blocks or ingress of other external digital blocks between the memory protection shim and the CPU core.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2022Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: IDAHO SCIENTIFIC LLCInventors: Dale Weston Reese, Matthew Ryan Waltz, Jay Takeji Hirata, Andrew James Weiler, Nathan Charles Chrisman, Claude Harmon Garrett, V

Publication number: 20110298245Abstract: A pickup bed support structure that includes longitudinally extending frame rails to which transversely extending beams used to support the truck bed box are assembled. The beams are received below a top surface of the frame rails by forming notches or holes in the frame rails into which the beams are inserted. Alternatively, notches or holes may be provided in the transversely extending beams that receive the longitudinal extending frame rails. One method of manufacturing a pickup truck bed support structure is disclosed in which holes are provided in the longitudinally extending frame rail that receive the transversely extending beam that support the pickup truck bed. An alternative method is also disclosed in which notches are formed in the frame rails that receive the beams that are welded to the frame rails prior to assembling the pickup truck bed to the beams.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 8, 2010Publication date: December 8, 2011Applicant: FORD GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES, LLCInventors: Corey John Jarocki, Andrew Charles Samyn, William Sharkey, Matthew Harmon, Henry W. Publication number: 20080045861Abstract: Medical procedure trays and related methods are provided to accommodate joining a first non-sterile medical device with a second sterile medical device and maintaining required sterilization of the second sterile medical device to perform an associated medical procedure. One example of such medical procedures includes biopsy of a bone and/or associated bone marrow using a non-sterile powered drive and a sterile biopsy needle or biopsy needle set. Medical procedure trays and related methods may also be provided for use during aspiration of bone marrow and/or stem cell transplant procedures. Each medical procedure tray may include a containment bag or sterile sleeve. A coupler assembly, one or more sharps protectors, a biopsy sample ejector and/or associated ejector funnel may also be included.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 11, 2007Publication date: February 21, 2008Inventors: Larry Miller, David Bolleter, Robert Titkemeyer, Matthew Harmon

Publication number: 20080045965Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided to remove biopsy specimens from a bone and/or associated bone marrow using a powered drive and an intraosseous (IO) needle set. The powered driver may rotate the IO needle set at an optimum speed to obtain a biopsy sample of bone and/or bone marrow. Apparatus and methods may also be provided for aspiration of bone marrow and/or stem cell transplant procedures. The apparatus may include a powered driver, a coupler assembly, a containment bag or sterile sleeve and various IO needles and IO needle sets with associated hubs and/or hub assemblies. Each IO needle set may include a cannula or catheter and an associated trocar stylet with respective tips operable to penetrate a bone and/or bone marrow with minimum trauma to a patient. Each hub assembly may be used to releasably dispose a respective stylet within an associated generally hollow cannula. Some coupler assemblies and/or hub assemblies may also be used with manual drivers.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 11, 2007Publication date: February 21, 2008Inventors: Larry Miller, David Bolleter, Robert Titkemeyer, Christopher Kilcoin, Matthew Harmon, Bradford Craig

Publication number: 20050153766Abstract: The current invention is an improved Interactive and multi-user role-play game that is played over a computer network, and capable of accommodating a large audience of users. The game allows users to purchase skills, levels and ideas using real currency. Specifically to provide the user with ability to set-up a “game account” which will accept deposits, enable a user to make purchases, build characters, accept winnings, and pay the opponent upon defeat. To provide the user “place” to return to and control of their game account via the PLATFORM. The PLATFORM is a “virtual storage” and/or “virtual safe deposit box” it provides the ability for the user to store and access a history of events, game statistics, tracking of game events, and account transactions.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 24, 2005Publication date: July 14, 2005Inventor: Matthew Harmon
