Abstract: The invention relates to a process for preparing heterocyclic amide derivatives, to novel polymorphic forms obtained from said process and the use of said polymorphic forms for use in the treatment and prophylaxis of cancer.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a bifold door panel, and allowing the panel to run on a track. The apparatus has a trolley that runs within the track and a vertical elongate member that is axially movable relative to the trolley. A hinge or hinge portion is mounted on the elongate member, and a first support is disposed between the trolley and the hinge or hinge portion. The first support functions to support the hinge or hinge portion against a compression force arising from the bifold door panel when the apparatus is mounted on a top region of the panel. A second support is disposed at or toward the terminus of the elongate member and distal to the trolley. The second support functions to support the hinge or hinge portion against a compression force arising from the bifold door panel mounted thereon when mounted on a bottom region of the panel.

Abstract: Door and window panels for use in building construction, and particularly bi-folding door and window panels. A latch mechanism and associated bolt are provided with a track to guide the bolt and a hinge fixing portion being disposed within the track. The hinge fixing portion provides a point of attachment for the hinge, and is movable within the track so as to be locatable at any level along the door or window panel as desired. The hinge fixing portion and/or track may be configured such that the hinge fixing portion is maintained clear of the bolt to allow the bolt to slide thereunder. In that context, the hinge fixing portion may perform two tasks: firstly the task of providing an anchor for the hinge, and secondly for maintaining itself clear of a bolt within the track.

Abstract: A corner module (30, 32), including a first part adapted, in use, to join at an end of a first elongate and hinged gate of a utility vehicle tray, a second part adapted, in use, to join at an end of a second elongate and hinged gate of the utility vehicle tray, and a releasable gate securing apparatus including complementary engagement sections in the first part and in the second part, such that, in use, when the first and second gates are moved towards a closed position, the gates define a corner, and the releasable gate securing apparatus sections are enabled to engage to releasably retain the first and second parts in the closed position, wherein at least one of the first part and the second part has an outer face external to the corner in the closed position, wherein the outer face is curved, and wherein the defined corner is curved.

Abstract: An improved solids interceptor and methods of using the same. The solids interceptor includes a tank having an inlet and at least one outlet, and an access opening on an upper end of the tank. A perforated basket is removably received within the tank via the access opening. When the basket is installed within the tank, wastewater entering the tank via the inlet flows into the basket, with the solid waste being collected in the basket and the liquid waste flowing out of the basket via the perforated screen. The basket and tank include an interlocking flange assembly that automatically axially aligns a basket inlet with an inlet pipe simply by inserting the basket into the tank. The basket is removable from the tank to easily clean out and discard solid waste accumulated in the basket.

Abstract: A variable distance spacer for use in vehicle assembly which includes two spacer components. Each spacer component includes a base and at least one arm connected to the base. The arm includes a plurality of substantially parallel rails depending therefrom. The rails are evenly offset from each other along the arm, wherein the rails on the arm of one spacer component are configured to slidably engage between two adjacent rails on the arm of the other spacer component along a slide axis, and, when slidably engaged, the spacer components are substantially prevented from moving relative to each other except along the slide axis. The distance between the bases of the two spacer components is changeable by varying which rails are slidably engaged.

Abstract: Methods and systems for deploying virtualized applications are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method involves, at a client device, downloading a launcher from a virtualized application portal to the client device, running the launcher at the client device, wherein running the launcher comprises checking for a first dependency and downloading a file of the first dependency if the first dependency is not installed on the client device, after checking for the first dependency, downloading an apploader from the virtualized application portal, and running the apploader at the client device. Running the apploader involves determining a configuration of the client device and downloading virtualized application components dependent on the configuration, determining specific needs of the virtualized application and downloading components dependent on the specific needs, and starting the virtualized application on the client device.

Abstract: A load holding system for use with a load bearing surface and for use with a tether includes at least one anchoring device adapted to releasably engage with the tether and at least one channel in or on the loading bearing surface. The channel has an opening, and the channel and the anchoring device are adapted to releasably engage with each other. When the anchoring device is subject to a holding force in a given direction, one or more engagement surfaces of the anchoring device frictionally engage with a respective one or more engagement surfaces of the channel such that the anchoring device is held in place at a selected position along the channel. When the anchoring device is not subject to the holding force, the anchoring device is slidable along the channel.

Abstract: Methods and systems for deploying virtualized applications are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method involves, at a client device, downloading a launcher from a virtualized application portal to the client device, running the launcher at the client device, wherein running the launcher comprises checking for a first dependency and downloading a file of the first dependency if the first dependency is not installed on the client device, after checking for the first dependency, downloading an apploader from the virtualized application portal, and running the apploader at the client device. Running the apploader involves determining a configuration of the client device and downloading virtualized application components dependent on the configuration, determining specific needs of the virtualized application and downloading components dependent on the specific needs, and starting the virtualized application on the client device.

Abstract: An authentication method for securely disclosing confidential information over the internet using a three way authentication between the user, the user's registered computer and the transacting entity, such as a bank or other financial institution. The authenticating method applies another layer of security to internet transactions and provides a solution against phishing scams.
