  • Publication number: 20240095672
Abstract: An analysis of the scans is performed to determine whether the selected item was moved from the back room to the shelf, then returned from the shelf to the back room. The analysis also determines a re-bin time when the selected product was returned to the back room. An adjustment to the PI is blocked when last PI adjustment time is later than the re-bin time. An adjustment to the PI is also blocked when an audit indicator is received at the interface indicating that the retail store is under an audit. An adjusted PI value is determined when the analysis indicates that the selected item was moved from the back room to the shelf, then returned from the shelf, the adjusted PI value being at least one more than the shelf capacity value.

  • Publication number: 20120195673
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a support for hand-held instruments providing for display of an image sheet in both a deployed or in use position and a raised or stored position. The present invention is available for use across a variety of applications that utilize hand-held instrument where an image display is desired. Uses include but are not limited to hand-held device such as writing instruments, toothbrushes, razors, and the like. The present invention provides for a leg assembly positioned near one end of the hand-held instrument, wherein the leg assembly can extend or pivot from the stored position to a use position for the purpose of holding and stabilizing the instrument on a horizontal surface and positioning the instrument in an angled-upward direction to allow for ease of grasp by a user while simultaneously displaying an image within an image holder of the leg assembly.

  • Patent number: 7909528
Abstract: A support for a coating instrument includes an advertising image. The support is movable between a non-extended position and an extended position in which the support projects outward away from the shaft for contact with a surface on which the instrument is placed. The advertising image may be formed on a substrate that is adhered on an outer surface of the support. Alternatively, the support may be configured as a three-dimensional image.

  • Patent number: 7267504
Abstract: A writing instrument having a shaft, a writing tip, a coating-liquid reservoir and a support that operably cooperate with each other. The writing tip located at one end of the shaft and the support located near an opposite distal end. The support preferably includes a plurality of legs that extend outwardly from the shaft in a use configuration so that when the instrument is in a resting position on a horizontal surface, the legs contact the surface and prop the distal end of the writing instrument upward while the writing tip contacts the surface allowing the writing instrument to be more easily grasped by a user and so as to naturally bias the contents of the liquid reservoir toward the writing tip via gravity, thus allowing the writing instrument to be readily useable.
