  • Publication number: 20240163345
Abstract: A push notification distribution system centralizes the management and delivery of push notifications to applications executing on electronic devices. Registration requests to register applications for push notifications may be aggregated and sent as an aggregated registration request. The delivery priority of push notifications may be managed according to specified preferences. Upon receiving a push notification intended for an electronic device, a delivery priority of the push notification may be changed if an application identifier associated with the push notification is found on a list of application identifiers with designed delivery priorities.

  • Publication number: 20240159956
Abstract: In some embodiments, a head-mounted, near-eye display system comprises a stack of waveguides having integral spacers separating the waveguides. The waveguides may each include diffractive optical elements that are formed simultaneously with the spacers by imprinting. The spacers are disposed on one major surface of each of the waveguides and indentations are provided on an opposite major surface of each of the waveguides. The indentations are sized and positioned to align with the spacers, thereby forming a self-aligned stack of waveguides. Tops of the spacers may be provided with light scattering features, anti-reflective coatings, and/or light absorbing adhesive to prevent light leakage between the waveguides. As seen in a top-down view, the spacers may be elongated along the same axis as the diffractive optical elements. The waveguides may include structures (e.g.

  • Publication number: 20240155549
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for wireless communications. Some aspects more specifically relate to elevation estimation for determining operating channels and transmission parameters. A wireless communication device, such as a cloud service, may receive geolocation information of an access point (AP). Additionally, or alternatively, the wireless communication device may receive air pressure and temperature information of the AP. Using the geolocation information and building datasets including locations and heights of buildings surrounding the AP, the wireless communication device may identify a highest building and based on its, height estimate an elevation of the AP. Based on the estimated building height and elevation, the wireless communication device may determine a set of transmission parameters for the AP and transmit an indication of the set to the AP.
