  • Patent number: 11915255
Abstract: Systems and methods receive contextual data related to spending as well as spending data. Correlations are determined to explain variables that influence spending amounts or rates. Systems and methods can collect user spending context data associated with a user, generate spending correlations between variables of the user spending context data, determine a next event based on at least one of the location data and the relationship data, and generate a next event value for the next event having at least a subset of the variables.

  • Publication number: 20240064136
Abstract: Systems and methods for using JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) Web Tokens for information security for a particular software-controlled application are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: store information electronically, including different types of client-provided information, hardware information, key information, and permission information; provide individual JWTs that include individual expiration dates to individual users; receive a user request for continued access and/or use of the particular software-controlled application; perform different types of (automated) verification based on the client-provided information in the user request; and, responsive to particular results from the different types of verification, perform some combination of transferring a response to the user request and accepting or denying continued access and/or use of the particular software-controlled application.

  • Publication number: 20230216665
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating asynchronous secured point-to-point communications between a first user and a second user are disclosed. Particularly, the communications do not require centralized storage. Exemplary implementations may: store information electronically, including different types of client-specific information, hardware information, key information, and permission information; receive a communication request from a first user; transfer a response to the communication request; receive a status check request from the second user; transfer a response to the status check request; receive a transfer request from the second user; transfer a response to the transfer request; receive a status request from the first user; and transfer a response to the status request.

  • Publication number: 20170075894
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, from a client system of a first user of an online social network, an unique identifier associated with a second user of the online social network, the unique identifier being sent responsive to a communication between the second user and the first user, accessing a social graph including first and second nodes corresponding to the first and second users, respectively, identifying the second user based on the unique identifier, retrieving profile information associated with the second user and a privacy setting associated with the second user, determining whether the information is visible to the first user based on the privacy setting and a degree of separation in the social graph between the first node and the second node, and sending, to the client system, the profile information that is visible to the first user for display in association with the communication.

  • Publication number: 20140114817
Abstract: A method and system for processing accounting event data and applying the accounting event data to account balances associated with an entity. The system receives accounting event data from multiple third-party financial institutions and uses processing rules to identify activities associated with each accounting event represented in the accounting event data. An activity describes, among other information, a balance to be adjusted and an amount that it is to be adjusted by. A balance quantifies information related to an entity's finances. A balance is adjusted by applying an activity to the balance, thereby increasing or reducing the balance by a specified amount. The system may generate a financial report by applying a template to financial data, including the activities and balances.

  • Publication number: 20140101033
Abstract: A user is presented, on a user device display, with two rows of available funding sources to select from to add as a primary funding source (e.g., first row) and secondary or backup funding source (e.g., second row). Once a funding source is selected, the selected funding source is deactivated in the other row so that it cannot be selected in the other row. Selected funding sources are shown in different colors for the primary source and the backup source in the order of the display.
