  • Publication number: 20210334260
Abstract: A messaging system automatically populates a stream of messages using only a seed selected by the requesting account holder. In one embodiment, the seed includes the streams of one or more of the “top” accounts of the messaging system. Here, “top” is according to any one of a number of different metrics stored in the messaging system. With knowledge of the seed, the messaging system automatically populates a stream for the requesting account holder, without requiring any other input. • Patent number: 11131740
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method of aligning a sensor assembly for a vehicle. The sensor assembly is disposed along a vehicle body and has a sensory face from which a measurement signal is transmitted. The sensor alignment system includes an alignment gauge that measures a datum angle of the sensor assembly, a sensor adjustment tool that adjusts a position of the sensor assembly relative to the vehicle body, and a controller that is in communication with the alignment gauge and the sensor adjustment tool. The controller further operates the sensor adjustment tool to control the datum angle of the sensor assembly to within a tolerance range.

  • Patent number: 11126436
Abstract: Systems and methods for executing compiled code having parallel code fragments is provided. One method includes storing executable code having a plurality of parallel code fragments, each of the plurality of parallel code fragments representing alternative executable paths through a code stream. The method further includes determining a code level supported by a processor executable at a computing system, the processor executable supporting a hosted computing environment. The method also includes translating the executable code into machine-readable code executable by a processor of the computing system. Translating the executable code includes selecting a code fragment from among the plurality of parallel code fragments for execution based on the code level supported by the processor executable. The method includes executing the machine-readable code within the hosted computing environment.

  • Publication number: 20210256233
Abstract: A ruggedized triggering handle device for a mobile scanning system supports a mobile device (tablet, smartphone) attachable by a bracket on the upper surface of the handle. The handle may establish a wireless link to the mobile device; a trigger of the handle device includes a magnetic switch which, when driven proximate to a triggering element enclosed within the handle, causes the triggering element to transmit key codes and instructions via the wireless link, enabling the user to trigger applications and peripheral sensing components (e.g., readers, scanners, imagers) of or proximate to the mobile device via the handle. The peripheral sensing components may be modular elements attachable between the upper and lower portions of the handle device, either individually or serially as needed, and operable via the trigger or the additional buttons without the need for visual reference to the handle.

  • Publication number: 20210181750
Abstract: Techniques to provide guidance to a vehicle operating in an environment may include determining a suggested region to block in the environment along a path of the vehicle and causing presentation of the suggested region to block in a user interface of the computer device. Information about the blocked region may be transmitted to one or more vehicles in the environment. Based on the information about the blocked region, at least one of the computer device or a vehicle computer system of the vehicle may control operation of the vehicle to avoid the blocked region.

  • Patent number: 11029390
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward a method and system for checking a vehicle height and radar aim of a vehicle. The method includes estimating, by a forward imaging system disposed in a vehicle, a vehicle height, and determining whether the estimated vehicle height is within a predefined height tolerance. The method further includes performing, by a radar system disposed in the vehicle, a radar alignment test to determine whether a radar device of the radar system is aligned within a predefined angular range, and adjusting the alignment of the radar device in response to the vehicle height being within the predefined height tolerance and the radar device being misaligned.

  • Patent number: 10965444
Abstract: Techniques for mitigating timing attacks via dynamically triggered time dilation are provided. According to one set of embodiments, a computer system can track a count of application programming interface (API) calls or callbacks made by a program within each of a series of time buckets. The computer system can further determine that the count exceeds a threshold count for a predefined consecutive number of time buckets. Upon making this determination, the computer system can trigger time dilation with respect to the program, where the time dilation causes the program to observe a dilated view of time relative to real time.
