  • Publication number: 20160257465
Abstract: A beverage container that includes a main body portion having an open top and a closed bottom, an interior, a circular rim and a first set of threads on an inside surface thereof that are positioned adjacent the rim at a first height. The rim includes a downwardly depending portion that extends below the first set of threads. The container also includes a removable cover with a bottom, a generally cylindrical side wall, an annular flange extending outwardly from the generally cylindrical side wall and an annular collar. The collar, the annular flange and the side wall define a first channel that receives the rim, and the bottom and the generally cylindrical side wall cooperate to define a cover cavity. The side wall includes a second set of threads on an outside surface thereof that are matingly engaged with the first set of threads.

  • Publication number: 20160058226
Abstract: A beverage container that includes a main body portion having an open top, a closed bottom and an interior that defines a first volume, and a removable cover that includes a bottom and a generally cylindrical side wall extending upwardly from the bottom. The bottom and the generally cylindrical side wall cooperate to define a cover cavity, the removable cover is removably engaged with the main body portion, and the bottom includes a plug opening defined therethrough. A breathable plug is received in the plug opening. The plug allows a liquid disposed within the first volume to breathe with respect to an exterior of the beverage container.

  • Publication number: 20160059061
Abstract: The exercise machine with a variable resistance system includes a frame, an exercise implement movably connected to the frame, a main shaft rotatably connected to the frame, a main connector attached between the main shaft and the exercise implement, a plurality of resistance assemblies and a plurality of actuation assemblies adapted for selectively engaging or disengaging at least one of the plurality of resistance assemblies with respect to the main shaft. The plurality of resistance assemblies apply a total level of rotational resistance against the main shaft based on which of the plurality of resistance assemblies are engaged with the main shaft by the plurality of actuation assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20160059060
Abstract: An exercise machine reversible resistance system for reversing the directional force of resistance against an exercise implement before, during, or after the performance of a routine of one or more exercises. The exercise machine reversible resistance system generally includes a frame, an elongated member movably positioned upon the frame, wherein the elongated member has a first run and a second run, a resistance device that applies a resistance force to the elongated member in a single direction, an exercise implement movably connected to the frame and a clutch connected to the exercise implement. The clutch is adapted to selectively engage the first run or the second run of the elongated member for selective control of the resistance direction of the exercise implement.

  • Publication number: 20150273452
Abstract: An oxidation catalyst for treating an exhaust gas from a diesel engine and an exhaust system comprising the oxidation catalyst are described. The oxidation catalyst comprises: a first washcoat region for adsorbing NOx, wherein the first washcoat region comprises a zeolite catalyst, wherein the zeolite catalyst comprises a noble metal and a zeolite; a second washcoat region for oxidising nitric oxide (NO), wherein the second washcoat region comprises platinum (Pt) and a support material; and a substrate having an inlet end and an outlet end.

  • Publication number: 20150208838
Abstract: According to a first embodiment, the valve assembly comprises a first arm having a first valve portion and a second arm having a second valve portion. The valve assembly is foldable from an unfolded state to a folded state, such that the first valve portion engages with the second valve portion. According to a second embodiment, the valve assembly comprises a liquid inlet, a liquid outlet, a conduit, a blocking member, and a flexible member arranged to seal against the blocking member. The conduit comprises at least one bend and is arranged such that fluid may flow from the liquid inlet, past the bend and through the liquid outlet to at least indirectly impinge the flexible member.

  • Publication number: 20150096368
Abstract: A system for measuring soil density includes a plurality of signal emitters paired with signal receivers situated within the soil and below grade (e.g. from 10 to 30 feet below grade). The emitters periodically emit the signal (e.g., ultrasonic signal), some of which is reflected back by the soil. If the soil is compact and close to the emitter/receiver, the reflected signal is received after a short delay and has high signal strength. If the soil is less compact or there is a gap between the soil and the emitter/receiver, the reflected signal is received after a greater delay and/or has lower signal strength. By making several measurements of the delay and signal strength, a baseline is established. Later, periodic measurements of the delay and signal strength are made. If the delay and/or signal strength measured differs from the baseline, the soil density has likely changed.

  • Patent number: 7111757
Abstract: Devices and methods for accurate volumetric measurement and dispensing of any liquid, regardless of that liquid's density and vapor pressure, are disclosed. This invention employs devices and methods which are used to eliminate free volume from a variable volume chamber. A desired volume of liquid can be measured accurately within the volume range of the chamber. These devices and methods are suitable for volumetric measurement and dispensing of any liquid, regardless of density or vapor pressure.
