  • Publication number: 20240058150
Abstract: An arm stabilization system designed to provide enhanced support for the human arm. The system consists of a lateral support element that contacts the side of a torso, a first arm support element that contacts the upper arm, and a second arm support element that contacts the lower arm. A plurality of subframes embedded within the support elements provide support, stability, and a consistent shape to the arm stabilization system. A novel series of connections among these subframes provides enhanced adjustability and movement options for the wearer.

  • Publication number: 20230097140
Abstract: This disclosure relates to planning systems, methods and instrumentation. The planning systems, methods and instrumentation disclosed herein may be utilized for planning orthopaedic procedures to restore functionality to a joint, may include determining an amount of bone loss along or otherwise adjacent to an articular surface of a bone. Instrumentation may be formed based on one or more dimensions associated with the bone loss. The articular surface may be repaired, which may include utilizing the instrumentation and planning systems to position and secure a bone graft along a position of the bone associated with the bone loss.

  • Publication number: 20230077428
Abstract: Systems and methods herein provide for predicting a player's performance in a particular sport. For example, in fantasy football, users may form teams by selecting players based on player statistics. The embodiments herein may employ machine learning by training and machine learning module with various statistics of individual players (e.g., according to position) so as to predict the performance of individual players.

  • Publication number: 20220331141
Abstract: Shoulder support systems and methods for treatment of the shoulder, where the ability to maintain some level of arm rotation and abduction is desired to promote positive health outcomes and ability to perform activities of daily living. Systems may comprise a vest and at least one support strap. The vest may be configured to cover an upper portion of a torso, shoulders, and at least a portion of upper arms. Pairs of sagitally mirrored anchor points may be positioned on the body and sleeves of the vest. Support straps may be attached to the anchor points. A path of the support straps may transverse the saggital plane and spiral around an arm. Inelastic or strongly elastic cables may run a length of the support straps. Tensioning mechanisms may adjust the length of the cables to achieve the desired resistive forces for the support straps.

  • Patent number: 11147567
Abstract: Instrumentation sets and methods for preparing and implanting an osteochondral allograft to a bone lesion. Instrumentation sets include a pair of guide blocks, a recipient guide block and an allograft guide block, for preparing a cavity at the bone lesion matched by a similarly sized and shaped allograft. Guide blocks provide simple and direct techniques for preparing a matching cavity, formed at the bone lesion, to a bone implant, to be secured within the cavity. Methods include use of the instrumentation to restore bone surfaces for any number of sites using any allograft source. In some cases, the bone lesion is in a humeral head and the allograft source is a talus.
